Weebs need not apply, the Japanese voices aren't any better they just sound better to people who don't understand Japanese because it's foreign and exotic. Voices in a language I can understand > illusion of "sounding" better in a gibberish language

Which would be fine if he weren't trying to tell people what their opinions should be. I tend to agree that english voices are better in games, but the voice direction in anime leads to some hideously bad performances. But BD in particular I couldn't un-hear Edea as Nami and that was really distracting, so I wouldn't blame people for changing languages. Opinions.

Incidentally I agree with you that playing a game in english is better for me because I can understand it. But I don't think anyone else who prefers it the other way is instantly a weeb by any stretch.

Playing a game in JP instead of waiting for the English version seems like a pretty classical weeby trait to me, but to each his own
