I prefer NA voicework since its gotten dramatically better since the Dark Ages of the 90s. There are a few standouts where the JP is better but that's usually in anime for me and not vidyas.

Spent an hour chomping as soon as it was available and capped it out.. Apparently can't convert those points into monies until after airship

At some point in the game, you will get subquest that will make you choose which asterisk you want, so you'll need to 'plan ahead' but later in the game you'll be able to get the other asterisk you didn'T chose

Also if you fight Asterisk holder from Bravely Default, the Asterisk theme from Bravely Default plays
