Well obviously wings are CGI. What I meant is that once you're making a practical costume for a movie it's a whole another story than cosplay. These costumes have to somewhat hold up to the movement of people in them and that also requires some consideration on part of the designer. You say you have hundreds of examples but really only example of a slick looking costume that translated well is that Man of Steel costume. As much as I love Flash and Arrow their costumes look kind of wonky, even Batman costume in Nolan movies is nothing like his costume in the comics.
