Dont get me wrong. DoFP was the pretty good. I enjoyed watching them all get slaughtered by sentinels over and over. Quicksilver was fun (but ridiculous). Just the right amount of Wolverine (he was important, but meant fuck all when it came down to the big fights this time). But best super hero movie ever? Come the fuck on. Iron Man, Avengers, almost all pf phase 2 Marvel lol, Nolan Batman. DoFP is meh compared to most.

I'd put DoFP above Iron Man 2, 3, both Thor films, Age of Ultron, BvS, Dark Knight Rises, Spidey 3 and both Andrew Garfield films, X3, Origins, and maybe MoS.

It doesn't quite reach the heights of greatness achieved by Guardians, Iron Man 1, Avengers, the first two Nolan Batman films, Watchmen, and Winter Soldier.

Forgot about Dark Knight, Guardians is also up there. First Marvel movie I ever went back to watch twice in theatre.

But I knew they were going to be great with all the hype behind them. DoFP flew under the radar for me in 2014, I watched it blind, didn't see a trailer or hear nothing about it. So it genuinely surprise me the opening 10 minutes seeing these heroes some have followed and adore get ripped apart.

DoFP wouldn't even make my top 10. It only had like, 3 memorable scenes(memorable for being good, that is), those being the two fights featuring Blink and the famous Quicksilver sequence. The rest was poorly written and utterly forgettable, except for the finale, which I think will go down for me as the scene where a movie character's actions most went against his stated goals with Magneto going on television to tell everyone to be scared of mutants.

DoFP was a top 5 for me. Would've been a top 3 without some of its hilariously glaring flaws (aka Mystique and Wolverine). Then again, I'm constantly told I'm a contrarian piece of shit, so who gives a fuck about my opinion.

Iron Man 1 wasn't all that good and was a mediocre movie carried by RDJ's charisma.

Bentertainment BG has a habit where you have some individuals who absolutely have to go against the popular consensus on movies. I'm surprised we haven't gotten a post on how Wolverine: Origins was a misunderstood exposition on Deadpool somewhere in this sub-forum, unless I missed it.

You did. There's an article out there that already says that. I don't know if it was posted here or not.

Not so much unpopular, it really was a decent movie to watch. Just not the best superhero movie ever or even top five movie lol.

Everyone knows the best super hero film was Darkman, we don't need to have this conversation.

I loved it because after First Class and The Wolverine, the franchise was still "in recovery" from X3 and Origins. I felt DoFP combined the best parts of the first two Singer films and FC. I love the X-Men, so while I don't expect Russo Bros quality, I'd still love to see a decent movie with them. Even if JLaw and her ego come with it...

No, the best super hero movie was Howard The Duck.

I can't believe what I'm hearing. We all know what film sits at the pinnacle of the super hero movie mountain.

Speaking of bad movies, I wonder how many Razzies BvS will snag next year.

Wow I completely forgot that movie existed, Comedy Central used to play it all the time when I was a kid.

    Memories.
