So, why does the movie never address the fact that...

Mystique had Wolverine at the end of DoFP, but apparently turned him over to Stryker/Weapon-X anyways? That whole sequence was completely useless to the plot and it made no sense in the context of the last movie.

thing she told Caliban about how "I just get them out, what they do after is up to them" line. Guess he just ends up in Stryker's hands regardless.

I'm giving FOX too much credit tho. They must've forgotten about that scene in DoFP. Just like they forgot about the grey skinned, blue lipped young Apocalypse in the post credits scene of said movie.

well the discrepancy RLM pointed out was a big plot hole too. Why is it during ancient Egypt he had masses under his rule and now he just wanted to kill everything and everyone. Including a bunch of mutants except his Horsemen?

he mentioned that the world had fallen into the hands of the weak. Presumably he and the strong(his horsemen) were in control of all of/enough of the ancient world(s) to be satisfied, whereas upon waking he believed the reverse was true

Saw it last night. It has some problems and several of the females can't act (Munn, Sansa) but overall an enjoyable experience.

So Sansa Stark is basically a demi-god now that can bust out phoenix force level power whenever she wants? Cool story. Would have been better if Magneto was told that Quicksilver was his son and ended up killing Apocalypse to save him. But hey, super saying Sansa works to I guess if you don't think about it.

haven't seen the movie so can't really comment on it specifically but don't think it's that big a deal. Either it gets watered down to fit the power level of the current film universe or the go near the comic levels they start introducing things in the comics that dwarf it

From what I remember he kind of believes in survival of the fittest and foments conflict and wars to both strengthen people and test them. In past he'd often appear as a god or ruler to do so but in the present he probably has to stir things up a little more directly hence the whole making some horsemen. Also while I doubt they will touch on it he seems to be somewhat enslaved to the celestials so some of this actions could be what they want or him rebelling against them.
