Sparks seem to be worth 10 for 1 gil (with lv1 fame), so capped sparks is 5k gil. I dont think anyones ruining the economy like that.

My above assessment is based on lv40-50 equipment:
Himantes 114sparks = Resale Price: 1042~1238 gil
Knight's sword 775 = Resale Price: ~7,500 gil

By your own numbers there it's 10 gil per spark not the other way around... so 100 times that. But yeah that seems to be the average of the higher level stuff and lower level seems to be worse. Eventually I'll price it all out. Of course they might fear some of them being used to craft lol

You could call it completionist content. They said those NM trials were more like an achievment or for when you happened upon these NM. This way nobody is camping against each other for jaggedy earred jack and on purpose.

I can't believe I zoned and Argus was sitting there. I was for sure that would be the worst one and most likely would of been if I didn't luck out. One other person was in zone but didn't respond when I sent a tell.

I'm glad they didn't do that barge NM in Carpenters Landing.

Yeah 50k sparks can net you about 500k gil selling items incoming nerf knowing SE lol!!!!!!!!!

Well for what its worth, there needs to be some incentive to keep the content viable after people cap out all their skills and get all the relevant 109 AF (I'd say 119, but untill the synth mats become common, the choke point isnt the REM pages), and getting 50k sparks on a regular basis (aka, no triple sparks for first time bonus) will take atleast 5 hours. It will probably take an additional 20-30 min to buy 41 Negoroshiki's and NPC them.

You laugh but remember when they nerfed beast blood because you could npc it for 500 gil lol. Plus this is accumulated while doing other things which was my main point about them being cautious about doing it with synthing. You could take a crap low level synth that makes a little money add in the ability to get points for a little bit more money and all of a sudden crap becomes good. Kinda like how buburimu xp is freaking amazing now thanks to RoE and lvl capping

I'm sure the majority knows this but you can script anything from RoE in about 10 seconds, so you could use the 50k sparks in maybe 5 minutes? Totally doable, just like blinkers, if obtaining sparks becomes slightly easier.

How would I go about getting that many sparks in 5hrs? If it requires monstrosity im SOL lol.
