Sword = melee DD, shield = tank, wand = healer, staff = magic DD, bow = ranged DD, harp = support, satchel = passive (Sakura, Kupofried, etc.)
Colors just indicate which nation or expansion they're associated with.

For BST soloing AoE trash I use Qultada, Kupofried, Sakura, Brygid, and Apururu.

Quick rundown of the more significant trusts off the top of my head:
August (PLD) and Amchuchu (RUN) are the best tank trusts. Apururu is probably the overall best healer, but they all have their pros and cons. As far as support goes, Koru-Moru will provide the most buffs/debuffs, but the sheer amount of spells he casts can be a detriment, plus he discriminates based on jobs (no Haste for non-BLU mages including BRD, no Refresh for PLD/DRK/BLU/RUN). Arciela is nice in that she will give you both Haste and Refresh + smaller spell list so she'll give them you right away + neat AoE heal/buff JAs, at the cost of only Hasting/Refreshing her summoner and also has a AoE WS. Ulmia gives you March x2. Joachim uses a bunch of songs and also is /WHM; generally only use him in conjunction with Ulmia for skilling up, WS quests, or Relic/Mythic trials. Qultada gives Corsair's Roll as long as his summoner has Dedication/Commitment active. Mayakov is possibly the best DD trust? I don't use DDs much except for Lv1-98 when a lot of them are very strong. I like that Arciela and Balamor have magical auto-attacks--means they can help finish off high level mobs when Ifrit doesn't 1-shot them since everyone else will whiff.

Passive trusts:
Sakura: Regen & combat skill up+
Moogle: Refresh & magic skill up+
Star Sibyl: Magic Acc+ & MAB
Kuyin: Acc+ and Ranged Acc+
Brygid: CHR+ & DEF+
Kupofried: EXP+ & CAP+

Koru-Moru refreshes my paladin, I'm not sure about the other 3 jobs listed but i know for a fact he will refresh paladins. Even when i'm not the one that summons him.

Zeid II and Maximillian if you have them are the most damaging DD trusts to choose from. Morimar is terrible and there are better ranged trusts to use than Tenzen 2 like Semih Lafihna.

Any time I use ZeidII he never uses his TP; i'll try him again. I dont have Max yet, any other DD suggestions?

Zeid II's TP usage might be triggered from wanting to skillchain so he's best if you are using a WS that is Fragmentation or Fusion as he'll try to make Light or Distortion off of it with Ground Strike. Due to the WSes I tend to use, I haven't had issue with him using his TP.

Someone else may have to suggest other DDs as I stopped concerning myself with their relative performance to one another after Zeid II, Maximillian, Mayakov, Semih Lafihna, and Uka Totlihn tended to show up as doing more damage than the other trusts I compared them to when testing them out.

Zeid also doesn't WS at all under level 50-something. The topic of best trusts varies greatly depending on your level and the content you're doing.

Question - are there any trusts that are useful for me to close skillchains with Rudra's Storm? Ayame doesn't know how to handle Empy WSs or something.

Many unique WSs close out darkness with Rudra's.
Though there's more than just Rudra's, and most trusts don't try and SC.
The problem with Ayame is that Rudra's properties don't play with GK properties.
No gravitation WSs mean no darkness.
And no Darkness means no darkness.
She's perfectly fine for any WS, regardless of type, so long as it isn't gravitation that she needs to use. (iirc, that's the only thing she can't do.)
So no distortion-only WSs with Ayame.

Kukki-Chebukki will, but only on darksday though and completely randomly.

I wouldnt say completely randomly. Versus weaker stuff in ceizak on darksday all she did was spam sleepga 1 and 2. sometimes one without the first one wearing off. I even engaged the mobs and turned around for like 5 mins to have her just spam it over and over.

Also on the topic of best dd trusts, when I am in a place i have trouble hitting sometimes using those magic dmg guys like Balamor is really nice because they never miss. Im told Trusts like him are also very awesome at lower levels, though i havent leveld anything since he came out that was low.

Pair up Zeid 2 with Maximillian and Bard and Red Mage support and watch them melt everything.

I'm usually solo CP grinding with Zeid II/Maximillian/King of Hearts/Qultada/Apururu. They do indeed wreck face together.

Also if you are fighting anything weak to piercing, consider subbing in Semih/Margret/Aldo in place of Max. Whenever the RoE is kill birds I usually head out to Marjami and exterminate the population with them.

I particularly like how aldo likes to close skillchains with you. So if you aren't playing something you can close well you can use him. Otherwise at least on mobs that can survive I love the various ones that start skillchains

My Zeid II and Maximilian were parsing sub-40% accuracy on the flies and worms in the Gates basements. Are DD trusts specifically for stuff that checks EP/IEP or am I doing something wrong?

DD trusts are generally useless on ilvl stuff outside of specific utility (stun, buffing tp moves, etc). You can close SCs with them but their WS frequency is too low to have much of an impact. If you have to melee, better off just using support trusts to cap magic haste and SCing with yourself.

To add to this, after around lv122ish, your DD trusts will need a lot of support to reliably hit anything. Koru-moru can cast distract and Uka Totlihn will use steps to assist in accuracy if you're able to integrate them into the set of trusts you're using.

This. Partially the reason why Zeid 2 is so beloved. He does good damage when he connects and he never misses a Stun if timer is up. Better than all of your BLMs camping Cerb in 2007!

Speaking of Stun-BLM Ullegore doesn't do badly as well, if he isn't caught casting something else- but Zeid II is hands down best for getting off a Stun for Trusts.

I tend to like King of Hearts because he's both decent support (Dia III is almost 100% opener for KoH) and will Cure/destatus as well. Him + Apururu means I rarely end up in trouble, since he's RDM/WHM and she's just uberhealer.
