WHM BRD and PLD like Trion or Valaineral is what I use when messing around with SMN and trusts. Should have 0 issues with mp even with subpar perp gear between spirit taker/myrkr and ballad. Use eminent pole or some other ilvl staff though cause chatoyant or magian have crappy base damage and no +staff skill so you'll probably wiff.

Hopefully in the future we'll be able to engage trusts without having to smack a mob with a melee swing first.

I use Cherukiki, Nashmeira and Zazarg. Since they are MNK Inferno Howl almost double their damage output.

If you want merits, just kill the worm VNM in North Gustaberg. It gives a merit a kill.

Puppets and Sakura are available from NPCs now.

Assault points: Ovjang, Cipher: Mnejing (can be from any zone in assault office)
Fields of Valor points: Sakura (Any FOV book for 300 pts)

99 BLU (don't think I have auto-regen!) Sakura gives 6HP/tic. She's a GEO, so it's an aura, and you can outrange it if you run fast enough.

My results are the same, in full 119 equipment. Appears to be the cap.

Ovjang: casts nukes, paralyze, slow. does slapstick and knockout, havent seen magic mortar yet
Says, "Aphmau, don't overexert yourself! Leave the dirty work to me!" if Nashmeira is out.
Says, "Hahaha...let's pulverize them." if Nashmeira is not out.

Mnejing: does provoke, shield bash, flash. usually does shield bash when a mob's tp move about to go off, and uses flash same way if tp move is physical. takes normal amount of damage
does chimera ripper, string clipper, cannibal blade. uses a special tp move, Shield Subverter.
Says, "Nashmeira, Treasure of Aht Urhgan... let your feelings guide your actions." if Nashmeira is out.
Says, "You've never let anyone stand in your way. Not even us or Nashmeira..." if Nashmeira is not out.

Nashmeira does not seem to behave differently if both automatons are out.
Says, "I won't let you lay so much as a finger on Ovjang or Mnejing!" if either automaton is out.

gonna see if they behave any better or worse without nashmeira

Thought that Ovjang changed without Nashmeira by nuking all elements on mob rather than the element they are weak to. Fighting Decorative Weapons in Shrine of Ru'Avitau, wiki says they are weak to fire and now that is the only elemental spell Ovjang is casting. So i guess it has the attachement Scanner on it.

Noticed the automatons will do a 2 part skillchain. I did Blade Jin, Mnejing did String Clipper for Scission, then Ovjang did Slapstick for Reverberation.

According to a dev note from a bit back Ovhang gains enmity- and magic damage+, Mnejing gains def+ and enmity+.

You mean when Nashmiera is out Dasva? I was bout to look for the post to see how they get enhanced when you have all three of them out.

Yeah those were nash enhancements didn't see a bonus for both autos or all 3 though obviously could be hidden wonder if there are cool things when you are a pup lol

And in a weird kind of related complaint, they did translate Sakura's ピヨ to "Peep!". She (when a chick) normally speaks Japanese in the NA version.

Finally got both Ulmia and Joachim. Saw Joachim use Minuet ONCE! I was excited, but couldn't get him to use it again. Can I trigger it somehow? or completely random? (He used it when double march was up already)
