I doubt they want since Trust NPC use WS at random! It would make sense if one specific trust had only AoE moves maybe.
And then again, it could be something they give to a COUPLE of trusts, not 9 over 10 lol

Regardless... They should have an option to disable AoE WS on trusts like they do with fellows.

Gadalar pretty much only AoEs until he's out of mp, so he's nice for cleaving

Tried out the Aldo+Lion Trick, used Kupipi as healer on a lv22 BLU/DRG but didn't work.

I just dinged lv20 Nin and resummoned him, and now he doesn't do it anymore. I have a feeling he is THF/NIN and Lion is supposed to enhance his dual wield, but since he technically doesn't have the trait yet (though he is dual wielding), it breaks him and sends him into a frenzy.

So it only works under 20 appearently, meh Cool thing anyway He's still tough to be using, probably one of the best trust DDs at least at low levels even without the trick?

Well, I just saw this on the Official Forum posted by Camate that I thought was interesting.

On a side note, I haven’t seen this mentioned around here just yet, so I wanted to let you know that there is a secret aspect for Aldo (as well as Zeid and Lion). Using these alter egos in a party with each other (two or three of them) will boost their power a bit, so if you’re looking for damage try out this triumvirate of melee fighters.

Well on a side note, when i leveled ninja I really loved my fightin animation and was soo excited to get dual wield, when all the cool animations stopped. When single wielding katana as mithra you do spinnin back stabs and slashes up and all kinds of stuff, and dual wiedling is really blah. (though i once saw a 70ish ninja in kuftal dualwielding with all the flair but cant figure out how that happened. If any one could tell me i would totally grow boner for you)
So maybe since he technically doesnt have dual wield yet til 20 he is just hittin faster cause his model dual wields, and having Lion in the party buffs him up like camate mentions. Kinda like if you were to have a great axe on and use dressup to keep your appearance and switch to hand to hand you suddenly swing like crazy animation wise. That always gave me a chuckle when i was procing reds in abby on ninja, id engage with a staff to try and proc and switch to katana later and just be swinging away

The only other combo I know of that works is Aphmau and her puppets. You'd think Zeid and Volker would boost each other too. Same for Trion and Curilla, Ajido-marujido, Kupipi and Shantotto (maybe), Naji, Ayame, Iron Eater, and Volker. List goes on. Maybe in the future they will.

So was using Najelith and she was set at lv25. Leveling up in Q. Island and suddenly:

She starts off only using cyclone as her first WS, then idk what level she gets sidewinder, but it's at lv25 or maybe sooner!

Joking aside she actually is one of the best ones. Weapons skills and Barrage were regularly doing over 1k.

had a 1 hrish parse with Cherukiki + Lion + Aldo.
In theory the couple Lion/Aldo should get a small buff when together
I was giving them Marchx2/Minuetx2 and occasionally Haste Samba.

Aldo ended up at 14,3%
Lion ended up at 11,8%
