I have been a fan of the Trust system since it was released. I have collected most of them (missing Ingrid, Maat, and Luzaf) and even if some of them aren't that good, I like to summon random ones for fun.
I really like F. Coffin. I think he's a good healer, and I feel that buying him with sparks is intentional, so that any player starting out around this time could have an extremely helpful healer/melee. I haven't tested really low level, but he has the 2/mp refresh at level 37 or so at the very least. He also seems conservative in his actions, only focusing on hasting [at the proper level of the spell] whoever has the monster's attention. Since you initiate battle with your weapon, the first thing he does is give you haste, and then if you have a tank trust, they take enmity, and get haste/cured and debuffs removed.
One thing I feel may or may not be a good thing, is that he will only remove debuffs from whoever is tanking. He will cure anyone in yellow HP, but will leave them blind/paralyzed, etc, unless they get the monster's attention. Based on my observations, he will only remove paralyze from himself, I'm assuming so he could remove it from whoever is tanking, and be able to cure if needed. He won't even remove status ailments that affect him (like bind). I could be wrong, but this is what I've observed.
While I have been reading this thread for a long time (this is my first non-introduction post), what is the general opinion of which trust NPCs are the most useful? I hear good things about Zeid, and I think Najelith and possibly Ayame.
