I just got Mumor, I'll find a excuse to use her soon I think.

But the goblin and moogle thing was ridiculously easy... how can this make that not look near as bad?

Thanks to how much lag can interfere with this event, this was a pain in the hinder. But doable.

Mumor has the strongest WS i've seen from a Trust ever, has used Skullbreaker on the wasps in Ceizac near Home point... first did 2600, the second 2700, and a third for 2800. her critical attack bonus seems more than +11% as her traits would suggest.

Hits for about 120~180 on those enemies(wasps), 330+ or more Crits. Will use Haste Samba and Stutter step it seems... also uses Saber Dance when its up, did not see her use the other one. Haven't see her Waltz herself yet either.

Seriously though, consistent 2500+ Weaponskills on Ceizac enemies.

Edit: and a fourth Skullbreaker... Reive mob... 3100 damage even. Mumor is without a doubt our best DD Trust. Haste Samba, and redic WS damage potential. Unless you need Ayame for Skillchaining, Mumor is epic. Wish she used Feather Step instead of Stutter but what can you do.

Edit2: Switched to Drain Samba III when HP was low it seemed. Let myself drop below 50% HP (Orange) and still no sign of Waltzes.

Edit3: Her only weaponskill is Skullbreaker it seems... none of them cool unique WS unfortunately. She also does not appear to use Waltzes at all, only Samba and Stutter Step... I havent found a way to get her to use anything but Stutter Step too. --- This is all as "Average Item Level 119. "

Edit4: Violent Flourish'd for about 600 dmg and stun when the enemy was readying Final Sting. So she can Violent Flourish.

Weird considering skullbreaker is a kinda shitty ws... wonder if it was ninja boosted during the ws update.

Edit: nope quick test shows it's still kinda shit... only thing I can think of is that she is getting at least 3 hits in, (I assume she is dual wielding but still getting 1 extra every time is kinda wow unless all these were with saber dance) or she is somehow force critting them.

Iirc, Mumor isn't supposed to be able to Waltz, but Uka is. They're supposed to have some potency boost together, I think it was duration of sambas for Mumor and Waltz potency for Uka, or something like that. It feels like these two are supposed to be the different sides of DNC, and I wouldn't be surprised if Uka used Fan Dance when she pulls hate and saves TP to Waltz.

Edit: found the source I recalled in the Freshly Picked Vana'diel 9.

At very least we know Uka will definitely be our healing DNC for sure. Why can't we just get Lilisette already. >.>

dasva: I found the goblin/moogle event to be easy, but ANNOYING AS HECK. Mainly b/c I ended up having to use fewd on nakee blm to finish it. It also took me a rather long time to finish. (Didn't help I was determined to get moogle trust on a crafting mule so I could use moogle to help him level enhancing magic; I plan on leveling synergy (Unless seekers finishes before I get him 100 ww and get started on that) on said mule and if I have to keep stoneskin up, he'd better be able to get the best out of it he can.)

Mumor tho; It's same old same old, I got the basics on that down years ago, so I was able to do rather quickly. Break out my old Sunbreeze macros, do my thing for 3 rounds basically, done.

Ah yeah being naked didn't help you actually had to pay attention then at least for the first round. Though really the gear is only a couple of pieces (namely wand and rings) which I just sent to all my mules and then eat a cream puff and you can just spam nukes the whole time for the 3k. Even did it once where I just set up a look to constantly nuke and it worked lol. If you actually did the math or trial and error to balance in the first round before spamming and using manafont midway you could wind up with a good 14k.

Not sure if I missed this reading through posts, but back during the New Year’s Alter Ego Extravaganza I missed all those trusts due to not playing. Like Joachim, Tenzen ect. I went to check today and all those New Years trusts are available to me now.

Given the once every hour limit I find this much more annoying than the moogle/goblin thing, since you could spam it at your own pace without having to wait 30+ mins for the next scripted event to start.

It's not as bad as you think if you macro the dances and clap and cheer to a empty set. Oh and practice, practice practice. I was able to get it done fairly quickly, considering I had to wait a bit for more shows. Oh and be fast on targeting; I use a controller which may not have much to do with it, but make sure you remember good mumor in blue, bad one in bathing suit for targeting reasons. Oh and you do not have to add <t> to the dances. It's the one place they forgot to make it so you have to back in the day. (so you don't have to go /dance1 motion <t>; /dance1 motion will do you)

Then again..When they got a new bathing suit, I usually do it just cuz, esp if it has some kinda cool stats for low leveling. ^^

This got me thinking, do you think perhaps Mumor has a permanent "Climactic Flourish" type effect? Or perhaps its the Triple Attack one... I wouldn't put it past SE to give the DNC trust a permanent Flourish for her WS's.

I'd have to ask someone who knows DNC well, so if one of you are reading, think Mumors high (1900~2800 on SoA mobs) WS output could be caused by one of the flourishes being active? Her Normal hits, Criticals, and WS damage are listed a few posts up (also, she appears to possess a rather decent amount of Crit hit dmg+)

If Climactic was up then she would always crit the first swing of each attack round. Does she do that?

Meant up for WS only, like a special effect for the WS, so I wouldn't be able to tell saddly... Either way, I took her out testing on some higher level mobs, Specifically the DC tigers and Raz near HP1 in Kamihr.

Her normal hits 90~110, Crits 150 or so... seems normal.
Her WS though, still doing ~1500, 1800, or so dmg... still seems rather high comparatively.

Maybe theres no logic to this behavior, perhaps she just has a really powerful shit WS. Just seems odd as no other Trust uses an otherwise normal WS with much higher damage output... to the contrary, usually they all suck

Edit: also her "Violent Flourish" is unusually powerful, doing ~500+ damage.
Edit2: 1800 and 2k WS on the DC Tigers... Srsly

Not that I'm complaining... But does anyone else find it odd that she doesn't dual wield??
I mean... DNC is one of the major DWing ones...

As for an actual complaint: wtf SE why no Fireday Night Fever WS? (Or w/e the floaty heart explosion is...)
I guess actual decent damage makes up for that... And maybe with Uka in pt she will use that... *sigh* that "WS" was the main reason I wanted her Trust. (Btw anyone know that animation's .dat location?)

Think you're probably thinking of Eternal Vana Illusion... I'm pretty disappointed she doesn't use any of her unique weaponskills, as they're all fleshed out in the Heroine holdfast event.
