Did some brief testing. I summoned Mumor, Uka, and F. Coffin. When they were able to, Mumor did Haste Samba. After 1 battle, I removed F. Coffin, and Uka switched to Drain Samba III. I summoned Mihli, and both Mumor and Uka simultaneously did Haste Samba at the start of the next battle. So it seems it is based on whether or not a healer is in the party.

Also, when there was no healer, an Imp Bio'ed me, and it wasn't removed at all, which coincides with the healing waltz not being used to remove "erase" debuffs. If there's anything else you would like me to test, let me know ^^

i had her use haste samba occasionally even if a healer wasnt there, but very very rarely, usually when 2 marches were up from joachim and ulmia she would refuse to haste samba, but when paeons/ballads were on she would use haste samba. Shits confuseing.

Of the Trusts that are available full-time, which are the best? I missed all the Ego extravaganzas since I just came back to the game.

So far I've been using Kupipi, Mumor, and Iron Eater when leveling my DRK from 1-30, but switched Iron Eater out for Ayame the last few levels and loved that she'd set up Distortion for me.

But I will be switching gears soon and leveling SCH and DNC. Are the tank type Trusts worthwhile when leveling mages?

The tank trusts are useful at low lvls since they can actually keep hate off of you. Particularly Trion and Valaineral. But since you're starting over I assume, you probably don't have missions high enough to get Trion yet, and Valaineral was from an extravaganza. Curilla is a decent substitute.

I actually am not starting over (well, I guess in terms of end game knowledge and equipment I am, but I am still using my old Rank 10 character)

I got all the Windurst, Bastok, and Sandy Trusts, and need to double back around to get Shantotto.

Which of the 3 Sandy trusts are the best for tanking?

Also went to Tavnazia last night to pick up those 3, but couldn't get Prishe for some reason. Will try Ulmia and Cher tonight.

Trion from sandy is best for tanking. You probably can't get Prishe because you started apocalypse nigh but didn't finish it yet. Cherukiki is useful for haste but doesn't remove debuffs. Each whm trust is missing something, na spells, haste, pro/shell so you have to pick and chose what you want or use 2 to get a full whm. As far as Aht Urgan goes, you can probably skip them unless you want them for fun or w/e. The 2 most useful trusts from Aht Urgan are both ciphers, Mihli and Najelith.

I'd get her for completionism and in case they do something to her in the future but she doesn't really seem like she could take a spot. She's a supportish DD but DDs about as well as ferrous coffin but without access to erase or haste. And unless they added something else the only thing she does for mumor is increase samba duration

A possible angle for Uka is that she's not gonna run out of MP, as opposed to pretty much every other healer trust we have so far. Obviously, a lot of the time you can just dismiss/resummon, but when that isn't an option she might prove preferable.

Okay, that explains the haste samba. I was on WHM, so I was a healer. From what you said Damane, it can also be what songs you have on too what samba they use.

I use her for this and the simple fact her heals are instant and can't be normally interrupted is <3.

I didn't see it mentioned before, but Excenmille the kid version is pretty sweet for xping at low levels (<40) since he's generally a decent DD anyways and Stag's Call is a party haste+attack+MAB buff.

I've been using a new combo on THF that's actually kicking ass in Outer Ra'kazar solo. I still use F. Coffin and Ulmia, but I swapped Moogle out for Fablinix. I got /war and have been absolutely raping the first Fluturini room. Most of the time I kill them before they can use a a TP move, but sometimes they get one through, but Fablinix is an A+ stunner, he catches those few that actually get off before it dies.

I'm absolutely in love with Fablinix atm.

I was wondering what Kupipi has over other WHMs. Seems just a weaker version of Mihli Aliapoh without the occasional AoE WS.
Is the difference just that?

Have you tried Zeid and Mumor? They're pretty badass as well with stunning TP moves, but of course their timers aren't always "ready" and I assume the same goes for Fablinix?

I personally summon Kupipi to use Pro/Shell for one fight, then just switch to a Haster WHM.
