Yeah, Koru-Moru is a healer type. He doesn't even nuke. Just Buff/Cure/Debuff.
Haste II is not exclusive to the person with hate though. It's anyone in PT that actually engages. When I had Fablinix in PT he would always Haste II him after me, and when I swapped Fab out for Joachim, I'm the only one that got Haste II.
Refresh II from what i see is Koru-Moru only. But I've only used him on THF.
Phalanx II he only uses on the person with hate. When I was playing around with Rahal(tank-trust) he was casting it on him too. But when I had all trusts that never pulled hate he only cast it on me.
Than he randomly does debuffs including Dia III, Paralyze II, Slow II, Distract II, from what I've seen.
I've only seen him cast Cure IV as far as cures go, but something interesting. I've was in yellow HP one time for quite awhile and never got a Cure from him. I think his Cure IV only activates at a certain percent, which is slightly lower than what the other trusts cure at. But it's still a percent that counts as yellow HP. I dropped Fablinix for Joachim and he ended up doing all the healing, Koru-Moru never attempted to Cure IV once. Which might be a good thing since Koru already has a fuckton of stuff he casts anyway.
Ulmia/Joachim/Koru always kept a minimum of double march and 2 other random songs up at all times. So as long as you don't need to rely on a TP stunner or -na spells. I think this trio is extremely powerful atm.
From what I've seen Koru prioritizes person with hate first. if hp above yellow he will buff them up, if tips under will switch to cures, if they are in white and buffs are applied he will then cure whoever is in yellow.
Koru casts Refresh II on his summoner.
Koru casts refreshII on Kupipi no problem.
Exping on DNC/WAR with Koru-Moru, Kupipi and Ulmia.
That way he doesn't have to worry about Shell/Prot (Kupipi takes care of that) and I find that this somehow makes his AI rotations better. His uptime on Haste2 and Refresh2 have been pretty good. He's using DistractII every fight, the rest of the buffs (Slow2, Dia3, Phalanx2) are a bit more random, but nice additions.
He doesn't move to melee. If when you engage he's not in melee range, he won't move and stay there.
Might be the excitement of the moment but so far I'm really happy of this combination :D
He Refresh II'd me.
Except back when Shantotto was added they said she got stuff with Ajido-Marujido and that all Trusts with special dialogue nets special effects.
Another example would be that they said Rainemard did stuff with Curilla but didn't say what it was... which turned out was just giving her buffs when she's got hate... as opposed to him being a stingy bum with the Haste2.
SO... they do stuff. Just have no idea exactly what it is.
Well Ferreous is actually a decent DDs, most of us do not notice because we emply him for the cures, but he does decent damage.
I suppose using Coffin with Koru would grant the advantage that Ferreous wouldn't have to cast Haste so he would save MP? Uh... but then Koru-Moru would cast Shell/Prot making his priorities worse.
I think, if you need a healer, it's better to go with one that casts Protectra/Shellra like Kupipi or Mihli.
Mihli is clearly the better option but her AoE WS is annoying so most of the time I tend to rely on Kupipi. I just noticed Kupipi has a fuckton of MP btw, he has like what, 1800 or something? Koru-Moru is not far behind.
I wish they could lower the threshold at which Ulmia starts casting Ballads... sigh.
The combination of player on DNC/WAR, Kupipi, Ulmia and Koru-Moru creates quite some awesome combination. I get heals, protect, shell, Haste2, Phalanx2, Victory March, Advancing March, Distract2 and occasional Slow2/Dia3. Plus my healer gets Refresh2. Also, me being DNC, I get stun to stop those nasty TP moves.
I mean, could it get any better?
Noticed my XP camp in Outer Ra'kaznar is not enough anymore, I kill those butterflies too fast... I need a better camp but WoH gates would be too much. Isn't there something in between? Better than Ra'kaznar but easier tha Woh?
I love the Ra'kaznar camp especially for one reason (Butterfly camp).
Mobs there do not aggro and do not link, making the exp incredibly relaxing and easy. I basically do not have to pay attention to anything.
Well didnt they announce a campaign where trusts got more mp or hp or more damage or something? Let me look for it... im almost sure they got a temporal boost of some sort.
Edit:

Aaaah that's why Kupipi and Korumoru had like 1800+ MP lol
Most likely lol...
Whats the consensus on Rahal and Cid?? nothing groundbreaking at all and not really worth using?
Cid looks cool but it bears the issues all characters with AOE moves have.
As for Rahal I dunno, I'm biased. For the jobs I played so far I could never find an use for tank Trusts honestly. They never keep hate and all they do is try to endlessly attempt to get back a hate that will stay stuck on me =/
Didn't see this anywhere, but Koru-Moru also uses convert.. I was shocked to see this, it was pretty nice he has basically double his mana pool and hes decently smart managing it.. I'm not a fan of Ulmia casting ballad on him, when his mana is darn near full, and he has convert >.>
Has been mentioned yeah, if he uses it at the wrong time (before an AoE tp move) it's good-bye Koru-Moru.
And yeah, they need to do something about Ulmia's Treshold for using Ballads, sometimes it's annoying.
Rahal is basically a no-frills tanking class. I wasn't paying a lot of attention when I was using him, but he casts cures and provokes so he must be PLD/WAR. He also takes his sweet time using weapon skills, unlike Trion who likes to spam Royal Bash. I saw Rahal have 2000+ TP before letting off a 1k Swift Blade. Yawn.
Rahal also seems to use Berserk if he's not keeping hate. Cid also uses Berserk and Aggressor.
