I'm interested in the new Sylvie (UC) trust that I assume is available now. An actual GEO trust (not a stationary, non-killable, single buff trust like Sakura, Moogle, etc.) sounds potentially awesome, especially since UC trusts tend to be particularly good.

She's probably gonna be indi-spells only.
Which is what tempers any interest in leaving the One True God, Apururu.

BUT... given that she's a UC, maybe she'll actually cast geo-spells.
It'll be the first pet job to actually use a pet in Trust form.
So she may actually be worth checking out.

August is like in the BC flash, reprisal, all skirmish weapons, Rosulatia only casts earth based nukes

Just unlocked Sylvie UC and did a quick test: Geo/Whm
She doesn't melee but has 50/tic auto regain uses Nott, she does follow seem to follow you if you summon her first, casts indi fury(lasts long)/frality and regular haste -nas and cures, can use entrust but she only casts on herself?

So Selh'teus looked like he was just standing there the whole fight doing nothing, then busted out an epic Luminous Lance killshot at the very end. It was... cinematic. Mandy didn't know wtf hit it. Balamor's a DRK.

Selh'teus has regain, 5 a tick. Both Balamor and Selh'teus seem to do magic damage as their melee damage. Saw Selh'teus have a few weaponskills, plus has a rejuvenation which is aoe heal

I've seen Balamor do all of his enemy TP moves except for Regurgitated Swarm (which he can probably use, I just haven't seen it yet), and Cruel Joke (which I would hazard he probably can't use).

August does Daybreak WS just like in the BC, but I didn't see him use No Quarter, then again I only fought 1 mob. with Haste II he was spamming Flash and cure trying to pull hate off my pld (which he did often) reprisal was cast often too, need to test him out solo to see how he does without 4 support trusts. If your wondering what I mean by all skirmish weapons, each auto attack round he uses a different weapon from Alluvion Skirmish H2H, Gaxe/Scythe, Bow, etc. and his WS use the others, Staff Etc. he stands around in Sword/shield but he looks great when he attacks.

I hope we don't get Iroha.

Sylvie is pretty awesome. Just poking the mandies out in Ceizak on RDM, and saw Indi-Acumen, and Entrust Indi-Refresh. Erase, poisona, Cure 4, and Haste was cast too.
She's a bit bugged though. Indi-Refresh does 8MP a tick, but she casts Indi-Acumen straight afterwards, which removes the refresh effect.


Prishe has Curaga 4/5, Nashmeira has Cure VI, which are both nice.

Selh'teus has Rejuvenation if things are going badly. Pretty big AoE heal.
Lilisette has Vivifying Waltz, which seems similar.

On another note, Prishe can use Psychoanima. Any idea what that does?

question is does Sylvie change Geo spells based on your job or is it just what she feels like? will she always do indi/geo haste if im a DD? will she refresh if im a mage or the mage trusts have low mp.

the big question if you move the mob out of the loupon does she dismiss it and call out a new one? and does she have geo merits to recover party mp/hp?

Haven't seen GEO spells, but I'm only at 9 points. We'll have to see.
It's a shame though, she managed to cast Entrust spells on herself.. Which then means she thinks she's lost the first buff, casting the old spell, overwriting the entrust.
Bit of a waste of a JA and a few hundred MP really!
