•Aegis PLD is a MUST. Cloudsplitter goes through shadows and she spams it below 25% for darkness skillchains.
•Acc for melee was fine with SV mad x2, but probably aorund 60-70% w/o.
•Charms around 20-30%.
•Uses Havoc Spiral from time to time. Sleep + gravity and can be absorbed by 2 shadows.
I wonder what kind of MAB AA Mithra is packing to do 4k on Cloudsplitter that not even BST can do in abyssea with MAB atmas and shit.
You can do buffs before entering. So for a winning very hard strategy, I'd do something like PLD WHM BRD and RNG x3, with 2 COR and a BRD outside to buff the DD before entering. You'd be essentially doubling SV song duration and getting COR rolls at the very start. Sadly, we lack the RNG, so can't try it out.
GK is the only one we've fought so far that seems like it has the potential to be beaten in very hard w/o using RNGs. Everything else pretty much demands it(haven't fought TT yet).

What you talking about. 4k is easy with atmas, cruor buffs and gearing. Granted they are atmas that are complete and utter crap for your melee dmg and you'd need tp bonus axes to be able to get decent dmg without holding tp and even then your ruinators will still be better...

scherzo from gjalla will cut 4600 dmg down to 2300 dmg, which is still out of most peoples survival range. If you survive and she chains it, the next WS and SC dmg will kill you.

Are "Regimen Mittens" an AA drop? Would make sense of them to drop from the Mithra.
And what about Kaitsuburi?
Also, these items drop even at normal difficulty I assume? Higher difficulty "only" gives, supposedly, better drop rate and maybe more drop slots?

As for weapons, the only ones known so far are Raimitsukane as mentioned by Ejin on this very page, and FFXIDB reports that the EV and TT have dropped the Anahera Sword, and Scythe respectively.

AA MR (hard). easier than tarutaru, but still some bs weaponskill dmg.

defender, full time DT gear, takes about 15minutes ( 2 troubadours).
I dont think /NIN is much better, unless the AOE sleep WS doesn't remove shadows.
Still, its pretty ovious you need an efficient way to reduce dmg taken in these battles.
I feel like RNG is probably a necessity for DM at the very least, but it could work with higher difficulty AA fights as well. Probably COR BRD WHM PLD RNG RNG with chaos hunter min min prelude prelude?

Probably not, given that Meteor is party-based.
At best, you can Meteor w/6blms -> sac and wait 5 minutes for Meteor resistance to go away -> Meteor -> repeat
Not at once. meteor is a pt spell and right after they released it they gimped it so mobs would have crazy resistance to it if you try casting more than once every 5 min iirc.
That said you should be able to do a rather large chunk with 1 group doing meteor. Quick math says around 50-60k with pimp gear but I don't think anyone has tested where the magic dmg stat goes into meteor since it's dmg formula is kinda odd. And maybe the other 12 can mop up with jas though timing would be crucial since if too much stagger bene might go off
