I really wish they added more slimes to monstrosity. Heck, I would be happy with a king slime.

I tried checking what the first place prize was at the moogle and my controls locked up, so I'm going to guess it's a mistake.

I don't think I have it in me to level that blue blob to 90….. oh the laps around Bubu will be epic. Perhaps I can watch the entire 4 years of Boardwalk Empire as I do it… /slashwrists

These days I don't know what folks are finding in dats and so forth. So I just roll with the flow. I try to not take it all too seriously.

On topic, the event was fun, I got to meet a few folks when we teamed up, and that was nice. It reminded me how the game can help one sometimes meet cool new folks.

In the official forums they say in march they will have a part two of this event. maybe we will get more monsters or versions of slimes and stuffffs!

I pretty much just assumed it was BS the moment I read it. Leveling to 90+ isn't really the hard part with double EXP right now. A level 69 Evasion Bonus pretty much gave it away. :/

While it's pretty obviously BS could probably get it done killing stuff in Burbur in a full 1-1.5 days between the double xp and RoZ. I've gone from 30 to 51 on spriggan while watching 2 recorded shows. But it still only has 1 move and nothing else other than normal stuff so I'm betting they really didn't do much with these mobs.

On the other hand, they're planning another crossover event in March, so there's at least hope for more. I would say this- it'd probably be a cruel twist if you unlocked Metal Slimes at some obscenely high Monstrosity level- just for people masochistic enough to grind that out.

For Slimes, I just went out as PUP/WHM with tank frame, fov protect/regen/fresh, puppet had stoneskin/auto repair kit on, used a meat jerky that I got from RoE and went down to town. Puppet is nearly indestructible and most of the time it tanks, and with 3hp/tic regen + stoneskin it's easy to keep up, the best part is that the puppet will follow the fleeing slimes and when they respawn they'll have hate on your puppet, so no more losing kills, it was very annoying. Got my 100 coins in 20mins with 2 PUPs.

Another good job to do these is on is drk. Got a lvl 1 scythe and some meet and would often one shot them. When I didn't a stone would finish them off and with choco head never ran out of mp

Whats the first place prize from the FFXIV event? I got the coat from 2nd place and the club from third, but thats all the items that the event details list.

I think SE misnamed the rank 1 and rank 2 as rank 2 and rank 3 respectively.

They did. There is only 1st, 2nd and the booty prize listed but if you play the game you only ever get 2nd 3rd and the booty prize.
