    God damn it, why can't it be like in WoW where as long as nothing (environmental elements like pillars, rocks, etc.) is between you and the target, even if you're facing away from target the spell will still connect? They did this for beneficial spells like Cure already, why not offensive?

    But other than that, I look more forward to the quality of life changes than content so far.

    • The action on a focus target's progress bar will now be displayed in front of the focus target's name.
    • The camera will now reset to its original position when the obstacle that triggered the camera adjustment is no longer obscuring the character's view.
    • The teleport destination list now includes area names.
    • The following options have been added to the “System” -> “System Configuration” menu. Player Effects Volume (Self, Party, Other PCs)
      * This feature may be used to adjust the volume of other players' crafting effects, and so forth.
    • The [Ctrl+Home] keyboard shortcut will toggle the size of the active window among five sizes. (60%/80%/100%/120%/140%)
    • The following items can now be stored in the armoire: Achievement Rewards\Seasonal Event Gear\Campaign Items
    • The following areas are now classified as sanctuaries:
      Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks / Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks / New Gridania / Old Gridania / Ul'dah - Steps of Nald / Ul'dah - Steps of Thal

    Ahahaha, T5 will be a real treat this week! Also, RoD is effing useless now. We're hitcapped anyway, so... How is this any useful?

    Probably going to be like xi where new fights are going to need it or old fights/mechanics will be altered to where it becomes beneficial. I remember when delve was first released and everyone whiffed to the point where accuracy mattered again after being accuracy capped for so long.

    Goddamn their proofreading for the patch notes is awful. I had to cross-check with the JP notes because it seemed extremely weird that SCH wasn't getting the same mage-y PvP actions as other mages.

    -Focalization
    -Aetheric Burst
    -Equanimity
    -Mana Draw
    -Purify
    -Attunement

    NA patch notes didn't show SCH getting Aetheric Burst / Equanimity / Mana Draw. Updated the OP over in that PvP thread in Advanced with the new stuff that we know.

    Only weird thing now is WAR having the fewest PvP moves, not even the pseudo-Invigorate (Enliven).

    Other things
    -JP notes made an adjustment to Featherfoot wording; for them it was apparently just "physical evasion" before.
    -The "The effects of the following actions can now be overwritten by the original caster, regardless of the difference in potency:" (obviously referring to overwriting DoTs) has no mention of specific moves in the JP notes; just a broad system mechanic change.
    -Brutal Swing changed from 30s CD to 20s CD.
    -Mercy Stroke from 60 to 40
    -Full Thrust potency going from 300 to 330
    -Rain of Death TP cost is also going down to 180 (from 200)

    Going through the rest of the patch notes to see if anything else is drastically diffferent/left out, as well as Google Translate can help.

    Think these were just glossed over by everybody (they are in NA patch notes) but

    -Titan weapons going from 70>80
    -Mog weapons will be 75
    -Additional summoning bells have been added near the market boards in each city-state.

    Off the top of my head, this would make Titan Bow preferable to NQ Relic, since it's det+acc vs skillspeed+acc.

    I think it just means your character's head will snap around a lot, following the target's movement [but not interrupting if casting] until you press the direction button to make the body also move to match the direction of the face.

    Why exactly is moogle being added? SE the masters of adding content that has no purpose.

    Moogle weapons tend to have ACC and CRIT and being only 5 lvs below might be a 1 dmg difference. Worth the tradeoff for some.

    Also the fight is fucking fun as hell.

    And, not that it makes for a good reason to add it -now-, but Moogle Extreme comes in 2.2 alongside Leviathan HM + Extreme.

    When the effect of Virus expires, enemies will now be granted the effect Antibody, making them immune to the effects of Virus for 60 seconds.
    This wording has been bothering me. If Antibody only takes effect after Virus wears can't you still Virus rotation simply by overwriting the Virus 1-2s before it wears? And what about Fever? Does Antibody prevent a SMN/SCH from applying Fever since it's a separate effect than Virus.

    Edit: Eh, I immediately went to check FR/JP notes and FR ones say Antibody protects them from the Virus spell. Which I guess makes sense and is clearer since both the status and the spell are named "Virus" but meh the JP is just as vague saying a "new Virus can't be applied"

    Not much reason to do relic quests anymore.

    Titan Weapon roughly equivalent to NQ relic
    iLV 90 Weapon from Extreme Primals roughly equivalent to HQ relic and don't need to spend 900 myth

    I realize the secondary stats may be preferable on certain relics to the counterparts mentioned above, but I see myself doing Titan Weapon > Extreme Primal Weapon for any additional classes going forward.

    You'll still need to do it on 1 job to meet the dps requirement to actually clear the EX primal content but after that yea its nice for your other jobs when u get into farm mode.

    All the notes make specific mention that Antibody doesn't happen until AFTER Virus wears and you could always overwrite someone else's Virus it's just like what ?? not to mention there's that hang time where the de/buff is on the monster at 0 which would probably still count

    Easy way to test now, see if 2 BLMs doing that with Apocatapotatostasis works that way.
