Lol
yea right
killing the same bosses over and over and over and over and over again every week is hardcore.
it was hardcore for the first few times, after that its just like brushing your teeth or washing your face.
whats hardcore in this game? get all the achievement, get the overpriced house. not the two hours you spend in dungeon every week.
do you know why casuals like fluff stuff like housing
because the "fun" part of it isn't something that is mathematically quantifiable, you don't go "str times attack equals damage therefore this setup is best" etc etc, you go "i sure love having my hammock hanging over the stove so i can RP my character cooking sleeping and masturbating at the same time, time to invite my friends over"
all you people going "oh mai a hardcore challenge finally" dont seem to understand that buying the actual house isnt supposed to be the "achievement" part of housing
i dont have a problem if they have super expensive high end houses for the gigantic FCs but its clear as day they they're just trying to clean out the rmt gil by making actual players suffer, which is fucking stupid
I guess I won't say "fuck" as loud now when I hit Rain of Death by accident when it's not free?-Rain of Death TP cost is also going down to 180 (from 200)
If this means I can keep my dots up fulltime instead of waiting for it to wear off then I guess yay? Gonna be burning through my tp a lot faster though. The "The effects of the following actions can now be overwritten by the original caster, regardless of the difference in potency:" (obviously referring to overwriting DoTs) has no mention of specific moves in the JP notes; just a broad system mechanic change.
Heh, i do that thing with RoD all the time too, because it takes like 2 seconds for the buff to disappear after i used to it and I don't know if it's the server being dumb, so I by the time I see it wear off the game thinks I want to queue RoD again.
For DoTs though, it's just a safety net IMO, the final tick goes right as it wears off if I'm not mistaken so it's a lot better for you to be patient and let them wear.
So if I read this correctly, Hawk's Eye is now effectively a 20sec Elemental Seal for BLM/SMN/THM/ACN/CNJ?Hawk's Eye - The effect has been changed to increase DEX by 15% and guarantee that all attacks land.
Might be particularly useful in PvP.
Do we have any information on the actual sizes of the small/medium/large plots of land? I know there have been various videos and pictures showing housing, but I don't believe they specified which type they were.
If you check the recent Letter From the Producer, I think it was the one before the most recent one if not the one before that. It was focused on housing and has all the sizes shown with Q&A.
Edit: Below is a link from the end of the post on the lodestone @ 11/25/2013 12:00 AM Housing Preview (11/25/2013)
For more details on the housing, check out Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX.

Small house is slightly bigger than an inn room and can hold 50 pieces of furniture.
Medium house is 3 stories (basemen, main story, 2nd story) and can hold 150 pieces of furniture
Large house is same as medium house (but bigger rooms) and can hold 200 pieces of furniture
About the extreme primal weapons, so you can use any jobs in order to receive the specific weapon you want right? Not like when doing relics quest?
You get like a key item from each primal and trade all 3 for a weapon of your choosing
