Huh? Relics are way easier to get than the alternative method you suggest. That's the whole reason as you can easily upgrade with 2 weeks of myth farming. Most people can't beat Titan, how are they gonna beat the EX modes?

If they can't beat Titan, they can't get a base relic to begin with...

And no, my method is easier unless said noobs can't beat the extreme primals in three weeks (pre-patch, two weeks now) or less. That is the time it takes to get 900 myth for a +1 weapon.

Even if you couldn't beat it in those two weeks, you're better off stockpiling Myth for armor under the assumption that you will eventually beat it. If you spent 900 myth on a weapon and then beat the Extremes, you've wasted 900 myth. I basically disagree with everything you've said.

As for Materia.
Does that basically mean you could basically stack fire materia and make BLM obsolete if you really wanted to?
I know it's redundant to do so, but that's basically what it comes down to yeh?

How is it easier? For relics you need to beat Titan once, guess how many times you'll have to beat him to get one of his weapons... Extreme Primals are supposed to be between Coil 4 and 5 in terms of difficulty so no, I don't think they'd beat all three of them in 2 weeks.

Extreme primals, quest repeatable once a week.

The i90 Direwolf stuff is obviously PvP gear.

Um, one is from primal battles, other is, I assume bought with some kind of PvP money.

They're from the EX Primal quests. The other new ones are from PvP.
