I wonder if they are enforcing the "-please try not to use the jump as an intentional dodge maneuver against melee attacks." Yoshi requested in his recent post or if it is honor system that people can't get jailed for.

Based Yoshi-P! Can hopefully get those 6 points I wasted on WAR back for cheap! Also the exchange rate on the points required to obtain certain consumable items for PvP are a bit too high so we will be making an adjustment to lower the exchange rate.
So, wait, you can just jump and avoid attacks? Like Mario or something? That's mad broken. No PvP for me until they fix this.![]()
I don't see how drg being hard to hit really matters... in most instances they're not gonna be targeted til 1 dps n healer are already down. N jumping during a gang bang isn't gonna do all "that" much is it?
Uhhhh yes you can. I have had times where I am following right next to my target on brd spamming abilities and they do this weird like .5 second glitch where the animation kinda tries to start but doesn't, and my cooldown/ability doesn't go off.
Trust me, this isn't the same kinda bunny hopping as in other mmos.
Its like a lag skip, because the server isn't apparently picking up where you were/going till you land, so melee have a hard time hitting something jumping around.
Its about as annoying to melee, when you change direction constantly really fast and melee have a hell of a hard time keeping up to hit O_o I just love going around corners with sprint and changing direction constantly, makes them so confused looking haha
I feel like I can almsot hear them going "fuck fuck FFUUUCCK" as I spam cures, and they aren't able to stop me as I run circles

Hello everyone, producer and director Yoshi-P here.
Thank you all for continued feedback on the Wolves’ Den PvP.
I would like to let you know that as of now, we are considering making the following adjustments during patch 2.15, which is scheduled to be released in January. However, please be aware that these adjustments will only apply on Wolves’ Den and will not affect open world areas and other content.
Jumping characters are difficult to hit
In patch 2.1, new coding was introduced that will estimate the character’s position to improve response time. As a result, response time has improved drastically in other content. However, because the estimation on the character’s position does not apply to character's that are jumping, this leads to melee attacks not being counted quite often. While we continue working on this issue, I would like to ask that until this issue is addressed, please try not to use the jump as an intentional dodge maneuver against melee attacks.
Balance adjustments on pet class/jobs
This mainly applies on arcanist, summoner and scholar but their total ability, when taking into consideration the master and pet, exceeds way beyond other classes that it is affecting the overall balance in the Wolves’ Den. Thus several adjustments will be made to these class/jobs, but they will only apply while in the Wolves’ Den. Also to note that minor adjustments are planned to be made on other jobs based on the data gathered so far.
Gaining advantages by joining in 3 person parties
We are also planning to make an adjustment to address this matter. Specific details on this adjustment will be announced once the release of the patch nears. Also the exchange rate on the points required to obtain certain consumable items for PvP are a bit too high so we will be making an adjustment to lower the exchange rate.
We thank you for your continued support on feedback and hope you to enjoy battling your fellow adventurers the den.
What is the advantage for entering in a 3 person party? Bit confused there.
Can steamroll people who solo queued. There's 2 different level 50 queues. One pools all solo/duo/trio queuers together and the other is 4v4 premades. Running with 4 will actually put you against geared people with faceroll comps and coordination whereas running with 3 means you often get 4 shitters with no clue what they're doing, 0 communication and often awful gear.
I've done few hundred solo ques (actually all of mine are solo que) and some do just fine vs 3man comps. Then again its usually the heals carrying the group for the most part.
I've ran into plenty of "zerg teams" where as its basically a sprint for the healer, or a sprint to take down the dps faster then you can heal someone up. Got to admit, those first 15ish seconds people have all their |damage buffs up is pretty much rape, but if you can pull through that its not too bad.
As for communication, there really isn't much need for one, its almsot... always the same strat for most every normal comp (non zerg) group.
blm > smn > healer/ranged > tank
What also works, is going after the guy that looks like he's in Lv30 gear (aka ilvl 55 pvp gear) as 95%of these people, have no materia and are about 3K or less hp, and die within 4 seconds when zerged.
First I hear to get the PvP gear because it has Morale, now I hear kill the person in PvP gear because they're shit.
Say what?
You can't meld onto the crafted PvP accessories, so you're kinda stuck with the VIT you have. Are you suggesting not using the accessories, orrrr to only use some PvP gear, but not all of it?
Ilvl70 pvp gear is worth it, because you actually have decent hp/armor/stats. The ilvl55 is pretty much crappy vs ilvl90 pve gear unless you are overmelding it. But as 99% the players I've checked, they don't bother putting a thing in it. People running around with 2.5K to 3K hp, pretty much get facerolled by allagan geared pve crews within seconds.
Being the healer in many solo que runs, seeingilvl55 people die faster then a lustrate can heal them (from 100% hp) is pretty hilarious. i should fraps random fights just to show off how sad it is vs allagan geared zerg teams.
tldr, get ilvl70 pvp gear, or go for the ilvl90, don't get ilvl55 unless you are overmelding it or expecting to hopefully fight another ilvl55 pvp geared team.
Good to know, but overmelded or not, you're not going to be getting any additional HP out of the gear unless people are using NQ gear, since the VIT will be capped on all the pieces that accept materia.
Well stuff like... resistance materia, or something to boost damage because the damage output is pretty sad from ilvl55 weapons also.
Randomly, has anyone made like a list testing resistance materia?
like i dunno
+2 sleep resistance 28sec sleep
+5 sleep resistance 25sec sleep
(throwing out random numbers)
this kind of makes me sick, I didnt do pvp from the day it came out til today
I'm the only person with no morale gear on lol really missed the boat on this shit
not his comment, just full i90 pvp set
how did you know i was pink
