I can see dropping Aero as well, unless you're with a premade group lush with healers you're gonna be spending way more time staying alive than DPSing.

Blizz2 when I can't/don't want to use Swiftcast. And Bio/Aero are my go-to for chasedown DoTs (plus, anything you can throw on a healer helps).
It's just that Stoneskin is totally useless during battle. TBH, the only thing I like about it is discouraging people from attacking Eos.
You're not supposed to use it during battle, but your party having a collective 3500+ HP before a fight is quite valuable.
If you have a WHM in the party you can always just swap it out before the gates open.
(tho it is very fun to have Swiftcast+Stoneskin available during combat on MRD, it's actually saved my ass on more than one occasion)
Surecast is less about having it versus all of your other better options (Equa, Swift, Lustrate) and more about having it every 30 seconds.
Honestly I could take Blizz2 off for Stoneskin since I find I'm not really using it enough, but super Aura Blast is all I live for.
I thought Sure was every 60s.
Did they lower it at some point or was it always 30?
yeah kind of agree i don't really need blizz 2. it's not really as useful like in 4v4 where you're constantly running around and the only one targeted.
and as far as i know surecast was always 30s. part of why i like it is cause it is just so demoralizing to use vs someone trying to kill you. an uncounterable adloq being refreshed after you think you've gotten past equanimity, attunement, 6 lustrates, and whatever else all being chained together is like a punch in the face. if you make someone think you're unkillable and they end up changing targets, you've won half that fight.
You can make arguments either way. For me, I spend large chunks of time nuking in Cleric's (as Lustrate and Eos are unaffected), so I love my Aero, and Swift+Blizz2 is another tool in my anti-gangbang toolbox (with Attunement, Aura Blast, and Aetheric Burst).

Congratulations on your sucking bonus, people who were wondering about it :DOriginally Posted by Camate
That certainly explains the horrible Exp you get for the first loss after a win.
Talks of premade teams make me wish they implement separate queues.
Premade teams as in - "let's play some A game and pit coordinated teams against each other" - looks like a great challenge.
Premade teams as in - "hey let's destroy these other random team since they lack tactics and voice communication" - looks really lame.
re: queue times
Stop selecting all the languages when you queue. Just select English and you'll get in way faster. If you select all languages, you may get stuck in a waiting list waiting for 72 people who all speak French or some shit.
idgi, you'd think selecting all languages would mean the game would just seek to place you in the first available party slot of any party of any language composition.
If you didn't notice already, the way the game handles queues in general is just fucking retarded beyond belief. You can queue a 7-man premade missing a single DPS for something and wait 5-10+ minutes because it only allows a certain number of parties to attempt to fill at a time, and you have to wait for one of them to fill to get your "attempting to fill" slot which will instantly pop.
Queueing for multiple things, including daily roulettes and multiple languages, will put you in whatever "attempting to fill" slot opens up first and then stops checking the other things unless it pops and fails or otherwise breaks up.
Random discovery that was probably already mentioned before: Purify will remove Holmgang.
Also seems to be a problem where full premades get boned into being the A-team 90% of the time? I lost track of how many times I was in group A all 12 runs I've done this week. Likely to do with how their queuing system works, which is bollocks whichever way you look at it.
I don know WHAT I would do if these good Samaritans weren't constantly marking ABC waymarks across the Frontlines starting gate.
Tried queuing for PvP on hyperion for about 2 hours yesteday, never got in.
Teamed up with a DRG in the middle last night and DF Dive > Blast Shotted 4 Flames off the ramp at once. Yusssss.
No, no knockback ... was just a coincidence. A very satsfying one at that.
Queue for 93min, no match, requeue, get a match instantly. Yup, fuck these queues indeed, just gonna requeue every 10min from now on. Also, I forgot, but BRD's damage is affected by range inside PvP yeah? If so, assuming closer range = more damage?
