    So, I wanted to move back to the live version from dev. Moved to dev so I could cast TVs. So I needed to deal with this to go back.

    Tried the suggested steps, and no good.

    so, I looked at my resources, and the dev resources, and found that they were different in regards to TVs(T6 were the same though)

    My Resources on live ver.
    Code:
    [148] = {id=148,en="Fire V",ja="ファイアV",cast_time=10,element=0,icon_id=244,icon_id_nq=8,levels={[4]=86,[20]=91},mp_cost=240,prefix="/magic",range=12,recast=45,recast_id=148,requirements=4,skill=36,targets=32,type="BlackMagic"},
    dev ver.
    Code:
    [148] = {id=148,en="Fire V",ja="ファイアV",cast_time=7.5,element=0,icon_id=244,icon_id_nq=8,levels={[4]=86,[5]=100,[20]=91,[21]=100},mp_cost=228,prefix="/magic",range=12,recast=45,recast_id=148,requirements=4,skill=36,targets=32,type="BlackMagic"},
    So, it seems like my resources weren't updating correctly. So I deleted Windower4\res\spells.lua and the updates folder, then ran the launcher.

    After that the tier V entries matched, and it let me cast them on GEO in game.

    So far with the below example I've noticed if I have the keybinds set in the user globals then nothing happens, but if it's in the sidecar file itself then I get the following error:

    Spoiler: show
    Mote-Libs: Toggle: Unknown field [CapacityPoints]

    Spoiler: show
    -- Global intercept on midcast.
    function user_post_midcast(spell, action, spellMap, eventArgs)
    if buffactive['Reive Mark'] and (spell.skill == 'Elemental Magic' or spellMap == 'Cure' or spellMap == 'Curaga') then
    equip(sets.reive)
    end
    end

    function user_customize_idle_set(idleSet)
    if buffactive['Reive Mark'] then
    idleSet = set_combine(idleSet, sets.reive)
    end
    if state.CapacityPoints.value then
    idleSet = set_combine(idleSet, sets.CapacityMantle)
    end
    return idleSet
    end

    -- Test for Capacity Mantle
    function user_customize_setup()
    send_command('bind @` gs c toggle CapacityPoints')
    end

    function user_customize_unload()
    send_command('unbind @`')
    end

    function user_customize_job_setup()
    state.CapacityPoints = M(false, 'Capacity Point Mantle')
    end

    function user_customize_melee_set(meleeSet)
    if state.CapacityPoints.value then
    meleeSet = set_combine(meleeSet, sets.CapacityMantle)
    end
    return meleeSet
    end
    -- End test for Capacity Mantle

    Edit: Oh my gosh, nevermind! I found out what I was doing wrong all this time. There was no such thing as user_job_setup, user_customize_setup or user_customize_unload. I'm still not sure what to do to rectify this as I suspect renaming user_job_setup will screw up a lot of other things and having the keybindings set in the user globals still doesn't work for some reason, so for the time being I've just copied/pasted those separately into each sidecar and so far it works like that. I'm sure I'll figure out eventually how to make it work globally without having to copy/paste the same lines into each sidecar, but if someone can help me I'd be very grateful.
    'function user_*' go into your personal Globals file. Globals is an optional file that contain utility checks which affect all your job.lua files (it's global get it?).

    If you don't have a Globals file then, to create one, name it (Yourcharactername-Globals.lua (example: Quixacotl-Globals.lua).

    Here's an example how to use Mecisto Mantle for all your jobs when trusts are out in SOA areas. I'm sure you can incorporate a toggle switch.
    Code:
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    -- An example of setting up user-specific global handling of certain events.
    -- This is for personal globals, as opposed to library globals.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    function user_customize_idle_set(idleSet)
        if is_trust_party() and areas.Adoulin:contains(world.area) then
            idleSet = set_combine(idleSet, {back="Mecistopins mantle"})
        end

        return idleSet
    end

    function user_customize_melee_set(meleeSet)
        if is_trust_party() and areas.Adoulin:contains(world.area) then
            meleeSet = set_combine(meleeSet, {back="Mecisto. Mantle"})
        end

        return meleeSet
    end

    -----------------------------------------------------------
    -- Test function to use to avoid modifying library files.
    -----------------------------------------------------------

    function user_test(params)

    end

    @Martel - Twice I've deleted spells.lua, deleted my updates folder and ran launcher. Unloaded everything, reloaded//update, etc. and still not getting it right.

    I did something similar to that, but I was making mine a toggle key rather than force it specifically when entering SoA zones since there's zones besides SoA you can gain capacity points. I may make it just force it when zoning into SoA zones though since I doubt the capacity points outside SoA are worth it. I haven't tried fighting those mobs yet mentioned on the wiki so I don't know what they give and whether an extra 35% on those mobs matters or not.

    Order of gearswapping when wyvern activates breath right after my WS is screwed up. 50% of the time i swap to petmidcast as pet is readying breath, 50% it swaps to petmidcast after breath fires and im stuck meleeing in glassblower belt and shit. Never had this issue before, dunno if anything changed.
    My code is:

    Code:
    function pet_midcast(spell,action)
            if string.find(spell.english,'Healing Breath*') then
                    equip(sets.Pet['WyvernHP'])
    				elseif spell.english:wcmatch('*Breath') then
    				 equip(sets.Pet['ElementalBreath'])
            end
    end

    function pet_aftercast(spell,action)
            status_change(player.status)
    end

    function pet_change(pet,gain)
            status_change(player.status)
    end
    What's supposed to happen is:

    1) Hit Stardiver macro
    2) Gearswap puts on Stardiver WS-precast set
    3) Stardiver goes off
    4) Gearswap puts on my aftercast
    5) Wyvern readies Flame Breath
    6) Gearswap puts on sets.Pet['ElementalBreath']
    7) Breath fires off
    8) Gearswap puts on my aftercast again

    Instead, what's happening some of the time is:

    1) Hit Stardiver macro
    2) Gearswap puts on Stardiver WS-precast set
    3) Stardiver goes off
    4) Gearswap puts on my aftercast
    5) Wyvern readies Flame Breath
    7) Breath fires off
    6) Gearswap puts on sets.Pet['ElementalBreath']

    7) Meleeing in breath gear still

    Seems to work inconsistently,but it worked extremely well >95% of the time a few patches ago when I last played DRG. Dunno if its due to lag that its kinda wonky now.

    try using this instead
    spell.english:startswith('Healing Breath')
    spell.english:contains('Breath')
    it could be that
    string.find(spell.english,'Healing Breath*')
    spell.english:wcmatch('*Breath')
    is just not fast enuf

    I tried:

    spell.english:contains('*Breath')
    instead of
    elseif spell.english:wcmatch('*Breath')

    And it doesnt even attempt to equip my breath set, as confirmed by Showswaps.

    So this is what's supposed to happen(notice damage)
    http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y15...pscopfc7mw.png

    And this is what it' doing like 50% of the time
    http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y15...psgn6ezaki.png

    Is there a pet-precast or something that may buy me a few more milliseconds? Or are they sent out on the same packet?

    not
    spell.english:contains('*Breath')
    use this
    spell.english:contains('Breath')
    the * is not needed here

    so is it not going into pet aftercast

    When i get the 428 breaths it isnt going into pet aftercast, and therefore I'm stuck sitting in breath gear until the next time i do an action or lose/receive a buff. When I get the 556 breaths, i go into pet_aftercast fine. Petaftercast is my normal melee set.

    I tried your version with the change and it switches the same as the wcmatch*breath. Maybe it's just lag or something :/
    Frustrating cuz I'm carrying around this breath gear and I want it to work when I WS. I know its only like 120ish damage difference but over the course of a long fight, it adds up, especially when I'm wsing every 1-2s.

    the only thing i can think of is its a dropped packet (this happens and there is nothing we can do about it as far as we know)

    Possibly for temporary fix you can use the WS aftercast to put on breath stuffs. then maybe it will switch in time. not sure bout the aftercast of breath tho. does wyvern ALWAYS do breath after a WS? My drg is 10.

    Re-downloading a new spells.lua wasn't working, so I just went in and added: ",[21]=99" to each tier V spell in there and it works now.

    windower4/res/spell.lua it has each spell listed on its own line, and one part of the line is about jobs and the level they learn them. So [21]=99 would be Geomancer (21st job) learns it at 99.

    You have to go to Windower4/res/spells.lua.

    Go through every Tier 5 spell and literally edit this: [4]=(n), [21]=(n) to this [4]=99, [21]=99.

    [4]=(n) is for Rdm (4th job) learned at level (n). [21]=(n) is Geo (21st job) learned at level (n).

    [4]=100, [21]=100 won't work.
