    Post 2.1 MSQ Speculation?

    Just finished wrapping up Moggle Mog and the MSQ Line. Following the final cutscene of the new 2.1 MSQ additions, the following text is teased.

    There is also a solid mention of the "One True God" during the final mission dialog. I would assume they're speaking of Zodiark, as that's known (iirc) to be their "God"

    I'm still wondering wtf happened to the cliffhanger ending after the previous MSQ, all this big "ROAAARR" "OSHITSON A PRIMAL JUST DROPPED".

    MSQ picks back up, no mention of any of that whatsoever, like it never happened.

    I haven't finished this batch of MSQ yet (shameful, I know) but I was fairly certain they had an offhanded mention of their mystery primal.

    Plus like I've said before it's pretty clear to me there's gonna be a "3 path" style thing. Crystal Tower, Coil, and generic MSQ and you'll need to have them all done at some point for the FINALEST STORY.

    This pretty much has to be true, considering the stuff following turn 5 win. That can't just be a side-story with no consequences outside of Coil.

    There's plenty of mention of primals and would-be primals but I don't recall anything having to do with the stuff at the end of the MSQ.

    I'm guessing that after the roar they didn't really anything to go after so this is just laying in the wait.

    I actually assumed that the roar came from the Coil and it was meant to be Bahamut (which is why you can start the series of quests that will lead you to unlock Coil after that).
