For those of you that don't... oh well. Sorry for you loss.

On a more serious note, my direct boss's husband passed away the other day. He had the flu, which turned into pneumonia, she brought him to the hospital and essentially his body shut down. Dec 24th would have been his 38th birthday. He left behind 2 kids. 14 & 17 along with his wife. I feel so incredibly bad. I'm very close to her and I'm having a tough time dealing with it. I'm trying as best I can to have a good holiday, as I know she wouldn't want me to be miserable.

Long story short, enjoy all of your times with your family. You never know what is going to happen. Cherish all of your time.

Thus far, I only got my Reddit Secret Santa gift, which was a graphic novel I haven't read, along with a giant fuck pack of Starburst.

And my grandma got me a really nice hoody.

I was helping her move when her friend showed up and repossessed the 3ds she "gave" her that turned into "Let her borrow". She's probably spent more money than the DS is worth in gas driving me home over the past 2 years from school on days it was raining; about 45 minutes out of her way each time, so figured why not when I saw Target had the bundle on sale for $150. Sent it up to her roommate who put it under their tree for me. She'll be getting that from "anon" when she wakes up in the morning)

bought my fiance a new monitor, since hers was damaged when we moved to the new place. also chocolates and an organizer for her car. she got me a new laptop since mine died earlier this month, and some new clothes.

oh and almost forgot, our present to each other, we bought a dish washer for the new place. sucks having to hand wash dishes.
