The only thing that still annoy's me are people who get butt hurt that I pull skele's better than them. NOTE: Just Tomahawk or Shield Lob is not the way to pull skeles. You should stand where they pop, immediately flash, spirits, then 1-2 combo moves then go where you want to take skele (or appropriate WAR moves). This helps keep DPS from pulling hate on your pull.

i've never had that problem, 2 tomahawks and hate's mine and I can pull it safely. A third as i'm running in case a blm is going nuts on it.

If I bane from Dragon onto Skele and then pop a fester you're going to need to voke it off me or I'm tanking it.

Lobs / Hawks only work because most DPS in CT are lazy. I generally play tank in there, but the few times I go DPS I admit I like to make it impossible for tanks to hold hate on any trash mobs (while I still position them correctly).

When is a skeleton ever in position to get baned? Only ever seen the dragon tanked in the middle once.

Not gonna provoke that skeleton off anyone who does that right as they spawn. Not that it's ever an issue, because I've never seen him tanked in the middle.

Different servers play different I guess. I had a friend transfer from Durandal to excal a couple months ago and where he pulled the soulflayer complete tripped me out, was to the top left of the map.

I can't explain how much I fucking hate the average CT tank. to the point that I'm starting to go tank only unless I go with some friends who are tanking. Easiest job in the raid and they're still lazy about it. Had an i60 somethin WAR yesterday tell me was gonna tank when I had already volunteered for it. I say fuck it, I'm not gonna fight him for it. I'll just do giants. Giant spawns and this tool takes the giant and runs KB east side. We continue to wipe for 3 more runs due to tanks

Why would you move the Dragon? Face him North, there are plenty of platforms to kill skeles on in the South half of the arena. Been doing CT 8-9 times a week since it was released and have never seen anyone move it from the center.

In one run out of probably one hundred did our tanks keep it in the center. Our servers always move it as far north as possible.

I always see it tanked far N on Hyperion's cluster (Primal). Helps with the stupid factor since it gives more time to kill skeletons between phases.

^ This is how it's done 99% of the time on Primal. The few times I've seen it tanked in the middle either another tank would voke and take aggro then move it North or most of the alliance would lose their minds and stack skeletons.

LOL jesus, apparently Bone Dragon = Twintania. I guess it does keep the dd's from being morons and attacking skeletons before they're in position, But I'd rather not bother trying to explain that to the tanks.

I guess whatever strategy your CT decides to do largely depend on your data center. Aether mostly do the center strategy, and having done at least 5 per week so far, it's not that bad. I see the pluses in the northern strategy in giving tanks more room to pull the skeletons, though only if all your tanks know what's up.

Bonus I see in the center strategy is melee don't have to run so far, but that's about it. The dragon usually go down fast enough on the last phase that the eyes don't cause too big of a problem. Then again, I usually go as a tank so I can hold onto 3 myself.

I'm in Primal group, and agree with the picture, with the slight correction that all the bones end up in 2 piles because one OT consistently wants to make sure ALL OF THE SKELLIES ARE MINE and you get 4 people shield lobbing the same things over and over until it paths back and forth across the middle and eventually they all die there. Why can't the tanks just accept that first tomahawk/shield lob = let him have it he knows where he's going with it. There's 5 tanks with not shit to do, share the wealth a bit.
