Forte and Lacy have comparable stats, similar # of carries but more yd for Forte and more TD for Lacy. I think the issue is Lacy kept his team in some games (though they still lost a lot of them). meh, it's a toss-up

Any team with a QB that doesn't have to throw behind the line of scrimmage every other pass to maintain a 1-1 int to td ratio would take Lacy over Forte in a heartbeat.

Edit: Emmit did it every year the Cowboys won in the 90s. So... 4 times ever. Shaun Alexander made it to the Super Bowl as rushing champ, too, but other than that, a whole lot of nothing.
