Best game server renting host?

Anyone had any experience renting game servers? My clan is looking to setup a dayz epoch server, and probably a dayz standalone server once there is enough content to play.

I was looking for a vds(virutal dedicated server) service, was trying to avoid hosts that have dayz already setup because they charge for services that you could setup yourself if you know what you're doing, just to make things super easy for those who don't.

so far i've found nfoservers.com, which seems highly customizable and extremely affordable. was just wondering if anyone has used them before and knows what their customer service and setup time is like.

anyone know of a better service? really only looking for first hand experience from players either admining or moderating servers.

Looking at their prices, that seems really expensive. I mean, you could BUY the server with 3 months rental fee's at those rates.

What about something like this? http://vps.net/cloud-servers They seem to emphesize on their scalability, which is nice to add more power if you need it, but hte prices start out pretty reasonable as well.

I don't know what kind of cpu power a dayz server requires, but my game servers work hard and seldom use more than 3-5%.

minimum is dual core, 2gb ram, and 2tb data per month is usually a good starting place for a dayz server. sadly it uses a shocking amount of data and resources.

To djzombie, How many players are you expecting on your server?
I would gladly host you a 32 Gig ram and quad core 3.6 Ghz servers at the lowest price of £10 a month with 60 slots and fully accessible in team viewer
