Speaking of /nin and magic damage does magic damage have any affect on ninjutsu?
thats a good question, although i doubt it would be worth it for nin, since they dont have much magic damage + gear to choose from, not to mention MAB gear. if they could bump it up close to stone 1 level I could see it to have potential if you dont want to come close to the enemy, but meh ¬.¬
You should definitely putting mab into any nuke. This is even more important with how much the magic dmg stat has boosted base dmg and somewhat deevalued int. Could just plug it into equation for helixes. Though not sure kaustra every got an exact 100% accurate formula
My mule does 1898 Helices w/ Day+Weather+Ebuillence with:
Eminent Staff/Whatever grip/X/Erlene's notebook
Hagondes/Saevus/Hecate/Friomisi
Hagondes/Hagondes/Icesoul/Icesoul
Twilight/Cognition/Hagondes/Hagondes
I'd prolly swap belt for MAB if I had one, and Eddy necklace ofc. Creamatio earring. Otherwise, don't think any other swaps would be better.
What augs you got?
shit ones, I don't use anything over NQ stones on her. 15~20 per piece
damage obviously won't be quite that high on higher level things, but still. 100% day and weather proc on helix makes it quite easy to squeeze a nice chunk of extra damage out of them if you shift your weather to match the current day before cast
Normally I concentrate on the extra MDmg, most of the MDmg gear I have already has MAB on it, for the earring pieces I use MAB, then rings for INT. When I'm using the Atician Staff it already has a bit of MAB on that plus what I get from Bookworm's cape and neck/body/etc.
Geohelix has a base damage of 25, so any way I can get that small base number even higher (+195 from staff alone) is going to be much much more effective with what little MAB is left over than stacking the MAB.
Let's see for proths gear assuming average 17 mab augments that would put you at +148 int, +215 mab, and +185 magic dmg in gear. I have 99 int and +24 mab as a sch/rdm so use that for a base. So total of ~247 int, +239 mab, +185 magic dmg.
So doing the math to get 1898 with weather day and ebbulience the mob would've had about 107 int assuming neutral mdt/mdb. So from there I can do some math... Assuming no dint cap on helix which not sure if that's been tested looks like 1 MAB ~ 1.11 int as far as dmg with that setup. And magic dmg is exactly worth 1 int. 1901.7
Some things I don't need to math out to figure out are better is using a good grip and atinian staff!!! Novio would still be an improvement over hecate but yeah go for creamatio. Looks like hombre might be a slight improvement. Same with Buremte Hat (though it will lose to hag at around 23 mab), for hands yao/otomi until better augments. Wanion for belt. Manabyss Pigaches. Quanpur necklace for earth. Also Bookworm's Cape is a bit more dmg.
Could probably push 2k on the same mob
was on a rabbit in ronfaure so much less than 107INT. I don't really care enough about my mule's nuking ability to go out and grab every single piece of gear to make her effective, however that should help out others who are looking to gear it up.
Hard to say without exact numbers. Since I used an average mab amount that obviously could effect my back calc. Or it could be indicating some kind of cap. But yeah most the decent improvements aren't exactly easy to get other than atinian
totally possible that it's a dINT cap. helices probably just cap so high that it wasn't reasonable to find where it topped out previously.
