Different storm in Colorado yesterday morning.
Was it a Snow-nado? Because that would be so metal.
Seriously though, crazy stuff.
High of 72 today or something stupid and heavy storms.

On New Years Day here we had temps in the high 70's, strong storms, high winds, under a tornado watch, etc. I woke up a few minutes ago and remembered they said it was going to start getting cold again today so I went ahead and flipped the heat back on.. Looked outside and it's snowing. ^^,

High teens but feels like below 0 due to wind chill. Winter's finally here. Not looking to how much I'll pay for heating this year.
I-95 had to completely shutdown a part of the interstate in Northern VA because of stranded cars due to the Monday morning snow storm.
Do people just not plan ahead anymore? We've all known about that storm coming long beforehand. Watching the news and people are still stranded, some with their kids. Fucking stupid.
I don't think anyone foresaw a traffic jam that would literally last 19+ hours... I mean a few hours, you'll roll the dice.
It's a chilly -17C where I am right now, with a predicted high of -2C on my weather app, and it's only supposed to get colder as the week progresses ;~;
After some nice 30-50 degree weather winter is going to roll back in tomorrow. Estimated 4 to 8 inches where I live.
Oof don't remind me
The snow/rain prediction line in GA keeps getting further and further south for Sunday. I'm full time work from home, so I don't particularly care if it snows or not, but being without power for a day or two would be a pain.
Also comes as a total surprise that people are freaking out and flooding the grocery stores to buy supplies. I swear all you have to do is say the word "snow" in metro Atlanta, and people start to lose their damn minds.
I live in east TN south of Knoxville and people are freaking out here too. You would think that with the higher terrain and mountains all around that they wouldn't as much but they still do. Always have. I guess it's because elevations vary wildly around here. When there is a big snowstorm in this region the mountains can get a foot or more but the people down in the valley near the river might just get flurries.
It's weird I looked on the Weather Channel not long ago and they showed expected snowfall totals and there is a big strip down east TN that is just blank. I guess that's cause of the valley? The local news is only predicting a couple inches here but the Accu Weather app is saying 6+ idk what to believe. I live in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains so I am taking no chances. I got extra supplies the other day in case they get this wrong and I get snowed in for a few days.
