At almost a foot of snow now. Another three inches or so expected to fall overnight.

We ended up with just under 13" NW of the cities. Heavy, wet slop. Gimme that soft powdery stuff instead.

There's a break right now in Hayward / East Bay and just in time for me to drive to my workman's comp appointment.

Mostly unscathed at the apartment. Few plants blew over that people didn't bring in and car covered in leaves but no flooding in immediate area.
Driving to North Batmy and Sonoma County after so will see then.

I had to shovel out my work for the past two days because the plow services refuse to show up until after 10pm. My upper body is just pure pain.

Well the power is back out again. We keep losing power for 2-3 day blocks every couple days as these storms roll through. Another storm coming in tonight.

Where are you abouts ? Norcal or SoCal ?
Seems both getting it the worst and I know NorCal PGE is notorious for shutting down power now after the wildfire fiasco years ago.

Gotten lucky so far no power loss except at work which isn't better considering it's a jail and an old one that keeps flooding at that.

I am right in Central Cal on the coast. Sunny today but another storm is coming in tonight with another one right behind it. We have gotten a lot of rain but these storms definitely are hitting northern cal harder then here. We just keep losing power. It is out again right now but hopefully will be restored later today.

Tornado outbreak in the south today. My weather app on my phone was blaring all morning and into the afternoon with tornado and severe weather warnings. Just got some really heavy rain and some wind and power didn't go out thankfully. But my Mom just called me and said the town in Georgia where my Uncle lives got hit. It didn't go right through his neighborhood but his powers out and there's damage everywhere.

Sounds about right. Dunno how much snow I got tonight but when I went out for dinner the plows were still working through my area. Damn near clipped one coming back since they started to push snow on the path I take coming in/out.

This feels weird to say in February of all months but it's been great the past few days. Highs in the 30s and no rain/snow which is weird since usually this is the coldest month of the year for me.
