https://www.cbsnews.com/news/turkey-...tors-arrested/Antakya, Turkey — Turkish officials detained or issued arrest warrants for some 130 people allegedly involved in shoddy and illegal construction methods as rescuers on Sunday continued to pull a few survivors from the rubble, six days after a pair of earthquakes collapsed thousands of buildings.

It's 34 degrees at 6am..in the bay area California. Also pretty sure I have bronchitis or strep right now. Worked the most miserable hours of my life.
Chills , likely fever , nauseated plus my asthma is acting up. Yeah fuck coming in tonight.

It's supposed to be fucking 85 in central NC on Thursday.![]()
In the greater Los Angeles area on Thursday-Saturday, chance for the snow level to drop to 2,000 ft and foothill regions could see 4 inches of rain
First Blizzard warning to maybe as far as the VTEC-era reporting back on Feb 4 1989.

We are getting snow here in Southern California…not in the mountain regions but some areas as low as 2000 feet so that means I am staying off the roads because drivers out here lose all brain functions when it’s not dry.

I would be willing to take some of that snow off your hands. Broke an all time record around here for February yesterday with highs in the 80s. It literally feels like summer outside. The mountain tops should be covered in snow right now. It's unreal.

Only about 10 inches where I live
Transformer blew up last night in Ocean Beach due to the crazy high winds and weird hail/rain mix. Was fun waking up to that at 4am when bedroom window was just filled with bright crackling Zeus juice
NorCal getting blasted right now. Downtown LA has a thunderstorm warning, flood watch, wind advisory (gusts over 35mph) through Saturday night. Expecting about 4" of rain Fri-Sat. Going to be tough to get around town tomorrow.
Spinning into SoCal right now.
And another atmospheric river right behind it. Brief hiatus Sunday, then a chance of rain every day next week through at least Friday.
Snow fallen on Highway 17 in Santa Cruz mountains area closing down freeway.
NorCal getting some light snow and flurries closer to Ukiah and Cloverdale. Calistoga which I usually frequent in winter months had some decent accumulation on the roads last night. Kind of crazy.

Grapevine (I-5) and the Tehachapi Pass (CA-58) all closed up due to snow. CA-33 that would cut through Ojai also closed north of Ojaia. Only north/south connections are the longer US-101 route or the extremely long way around through Bakersfield > Lake Isabella > Ridgecrest > Mojave.
Snow in wine country. Beautiful and never seen it myself up this way.
