I woke up just after midnight with the hopes of catching something and nadda. I'd driven to a small park a couple of miles away on Lake Erie... a ton of other people had the same idea... and after I was there for about 10 minutes the police came by and chased everyone away.

It's been fluctuating over/under a 100 here for days. Hard to stay outside for very long. Finally getting some relief today with a bit of rain earlier. I got a severe thunderstorm warning on my phone as I am posting this. The radar shows a big line of heavy rain and lighting.

I have a little weather station that also connects to the internet and shows a forecast. I am looking at it right now and it shows a small chance of light rain in the next 12 hours. I need to throw this thing in the garbage. >.>

Chicago had 6 confirmed tornadoes. All EF-0 with the smallest 100 yards wide and the largest 300 yards. Longest path was nearly 10 miles by the airport.
