I just finished battening down the hatches so to speak. They are predicting this could be the worst storm we have had in years. I hate this time of year!

So, I just experienced it. Golfball sized hail, enough to cover an entire yard and ACCUMULATE like snow
I have large semi-circle window near a soaking tub and has taken damage, but not broken, but allowed water to seep down to the first floor of the house and get water on the ceiling. I don't know the tree damage yet, I'm afraid to look (I'm completely surrounded by massive trees that are hundreds of years old and very very tall).

10+ tornado warnings so far in my general area. None in direct area, but one moving this way, about 25 miles away.

I still have a giant tree down, and while the firewood will be nice, I like my damn trees.

Supposed to be 90 in Raleigh tomorrow. Record high is 88, from like 1934. 90 again the next day.
