It's been 100-115ish for what seems like 3 weeks now with no signs of slowing down. Going to China in a few weeks. Looks like that's going to be a hot mess to 90+ with ~80-90% humidity.

Wishing I mowed the lawn this morning instead of yesterday. Presently around 70 without the muggy blah. It'll get warmer later, of course, but I think today is supposed to top around 80 instead of the 90+ we've had the past couple days with all the sticky air.
Yeah still got thick fog out here so promises to not get too hot today. Which is nice since it was still prefty hot up until like 4 am from yesterday's heat
Too late, now is the season for 100F+ with 100% humidity, swarms of mosqitos and hornets bigger than quarters ready to rape the shit out of you
for reference (not like I tried to kill it, when I saw one I ran like a mofo)
Spoiler: show
Oh right, I forgot Japan has mutant insects like that. Maybe I should reconsider wanting to go there at some point.
Anyway....
Been beautiful in the mid 70s for the past 3 days. But that's going to change by tomorrow with the highs being in high the 80s.
Ever since I've heard of them I always imagined that they chase people spraying them. I know that's not how it works and something tells me they're probably not common?
I'm in Hawaii. Suck it
Damn, big league'd
no idea but it hurts like a mofo if you get stung thats for sure.
Speaking of Japanese weather...
So its like 100F almost (33C) all sunny... and suddenly a wild thunderstorm comes by and drops 5 inches of rain in like 45 seconds. Talk about being raped if you had no umbrella... happened a bit after the kids were leaving the school as I just sat in a safe place and watch them get drenched.
Just across the way in Korea, it has been raining non-stop for about four days now. It's sort of nice, because it's cooler than usual for this time of year (24-26C), but it is so god damn humid.
A couple of my friends were there last month and added some artwork to the area.
Spoiler: show
Paris has been cool, high 60s mid 70s short spurts of drizzling on and off all day some days. Hoody and shorts, jeans and t-shirt weather. Was sweating in a Polo and shorts today. Nice/Eze are in the 90ish range right now, we'll be there at the end of the week for beaching for about another week.
Going to be a fun night tonight. Hail and 60-80 mph winds. The skies in Minneapolis are green right now, which is the forecasted hail. The local weather radio keeps cutting out because there is so much electricity in the air. Woo!
Don't get Joplin'd, dog.
That is the meteorological image equivalent of "Bite the pillow.."
Lots of bite depending on where you are. We didn't get a lot of the wind and only small hail on the North side of town.
Love those storm systems though.
I'm ok with this. I live in the city itself and every single storm this season has gone around us and hit the suburbs. being a storm-lover, all I can say tonight is finally.
and the thunder now, it's just... whoaaaaa
There was a 5.0 earthquake about 50km off the southeastern coast of S.Korea last night. I somehow didn't feel it at all, but my friends are all talking about how they thought the world was ending and shit.
Been without power for over 6 hours and this the first time I was able to get a signal. Burbs got hit hard.
