I just got let out of work 3 hours early because the other people in my office were whining about driving in treacherous conditions lol. My management gave in. Oh well. Works for me! I'm salaried.
Boston supposed to get 2 feet of snow.
Got some more heavy snow going on, expecting a shit ride home later.

Snow storm predicted for the tundra after the weekend's big melt off. Morning rain to turn to snow and 5-10 inches predicted by the time it ends Monday evening.
My work called and asked me not to come in. The weather has been ice rain for the past 9 hours or so.
Wednesday we're supposed to get between 6 and 18 inches of snow, starting at noon and lasting through to Thursday morning.

Tree planted by George Washington in 1785 is a confirmed casualty during Winter Storm Riley.
7 to 12 inches tomorrow, possibly up to 15 locally in higher elevations (I'm above 1000ft). I don't know if it's better to try to work from home tomorrow or Thursday. I have meetings both days either way.
Time to stack more firewood on the porch.
Forecast for the next nor'easter keeps changing...was 4-8, then 8-14, now 6-10, and the timing is changing....less the better, as my work week starts tomorrow night!
My job closed for this nor'easter that has yet to hit NY. Paid day off, yes please. It's supposed to hit in a couple hours. Watch the place be open tomorrow when the roads are actually a mess.
this is a snooze of a storm
Yeah, I stayed home because we had about an inch on the ground with the snow still coming when I was set to leave. Now it's 1pm and the roads are still fine. The only thing is, now I'm worried about it being shit tomorrow morning instead of today. They're still saying 12-15 and local 20 near me.
it's blizzarding but it's so warm.
Yeah it's crazy now. Huge flakes coming down quick. Think we got an inch in the past 30 minutes.
