Holy shit it got dangerous here in Detroit. This morning (about 5am) the streets and sidewalks were nothing but ice. I mean a nice thick layer. I figured by my lunch things would be better, but i was wrong. Not only were the sidewalks still fucking ice, but a nice layer of ice sheets have also built up on the side of the tall buildings here. It got warm enough for these sheets to start falling fucking down and raining icy hell around the people trying to get lunch. It was funny watching people try to run as this happened until i saw a lady get hit with a rather large piece and go down. She was fine but had a large mark on her back. If that was a little kid or an older person they might have been down for the count.

Another rain and wind system is moving in expected to dump another 2-4 inches of rain overnight in the entire Bay Area. Looks like it’s lasting all week which just makes work super fun as well.

St. Paul resident Ryan Butler could clear his driveway from the comfort of his living room. He designed and 3D-printed his own remote control snowblower.

The snowblower is almost entirely made of plastic and powered by six 12-volt batteries. Butler can raise and lower the plow, change the direction of the chute and drive the plow over almost any winter terrain.

This winter so far has been terrible. It's rained almost constantly with only a couple days break in between. It's pouring outside right now and it is suppose to again tomorrow. Then the forecast says it's going to rain everyday next week. I don't know how much longer I can handle this. I'm thinking of buying one of those huge bottles of Smirnoff vodka and staying blitzed until this is over. x.x

Where are you again ? It’s been that way in the Bay Area for weeks now. I usually love the rain but having to work outside and overnight in it has changed my opinion I admit lol.
If you go the vodka route just get some Kirkland vodka from Costco and call it a day

Then I moved to VA and got a decent taste of it.

Got about an inch of snow overnight. Maybe a bit more. I like when we at least get a dusting because it hides all the leaves and shit that's blow into my yard from the woods or is left behind by the creek when it floods.
