Yeah maybe I'll try that again. I do bake my Heggie's until that cheese is golden brown / practically burnt. That's the only way <3

Flood watches and warnings all over and a winter storm watch for tomorrow which includes freezing rain.
We're finally having a nice week after like 3 months of rain.

walking home through water that rises above my boots because the melting snow has nowhere to go trollolol
For the first time since 2011 there is no part of California in drought conditions. Downtown Los Angeles had their first February in recorded history without a day where the high hit 70.

Considering I've gotten 25+ feet of snow since Jan 1 at our spot in Tahoe City, I'm not surprised. Sierra snowpack levels crossed the 100% threshold back in Feb, with another ~2 months of hard snow to go. In SF (where I live full-time), I think it's rained like 75% of days since Jan 1.

Doesn't matter because it will be in the 50's by next weekend, but this is a surprise to wake up to after 40's last week.A narrow band of moderate snow producing reduced visibility will move from east central Minnesota into west central Wisconsin this morning. A quick half inch of snow will be possible along the Interstate 35 corridor and northern Twin Cities metro, toward the New Richmond Wisconsin area.
Well it was nice while it lasted

Global warming at it again![]()
Going to the airport next week is going to suck if it doesn't get warm again
For once Chicago isn't getting a Spring blizzard. Crossing my fingers we don't get one in May. All the bars finally opened up their windows and doors, it's been beautiful day drinking weather recently.

It will probably keep changing from hour to hour. They expanded the Winter Storm Warning to include the entire Twin Cities metro area now.
Ice weather outside my window right now.
We are supposed to hit a record high of 94F today. How is the rest of the country doing?
