i still have no fucking clue what went on with this season. i'm tempted to rewatch it so i can actually connect the dots and sync up all the names, but i think i might fucking gouge my eyes out if i have to listen to that dumb mayor chug another drink.

seriously, did they put the boom mic right next to his throat every time he had a drink in his hand? most obnoxious thing about the entire season.

I still look forward to this show every week, which is good, I suppose. But I'm also rather glad next week is the last episode, because I think I'm ready for it to be done.

Every episode, there's about a half-dozen names thrown out which I can't put a face to, and I can't help but wonder if this is how non-book readers felt like during the first few season of Game of Thrones. Sometimes reading the EW or Grantland recaps helps, and other times they don't have a clue either.

Rusty in S1 was such a good mix of really good at certain things and fucked up. These guys all just make me dislike them because they're so fucked up. Vaugn's the one I like most, and that's saying something

I felt episode 2-the first 50 minutes of episode 4 was pointless. This could have been a really good miniseries without half the fluff.

I didn't realize he and the Lieutenant were the ones that did the pawn stuff. I thought he was just a drunk slob that got put on that detail because they needed to get rid of him/he worked with Velcoro.

The real killers of Caspere was interesting due to article. Same goes for Blake and his hair. Rest I got. Great read, and story line is truly a good detective novel.

i think blake and his hair are a coincidence. Even after they identified the children last week i had no idea we were supposed to think they grew up and killed caspere lol

So for everyone who read that? Does that make you reassess judgement of the season? Curious how many people just don't understand whats going on and have written the show off because of it.

It still doesn't cover up the shit dialogue that has made up most of this season, which I feel goes a long way to why some people might not have fully understood everything.
