I wasn't really a fan of anything until I dated a guy in graduate school who was super obsessed with football. (I used to watch football randomly but wasn't connected to any team nor did I really know wtf was going on much). Had to been the Cowboys golden years because I was a Cowboys fan for that season since Emmit Smith was the only name I recognized because of all the commercial spots he was getting, and they were the easiest team to play on Madden which is what the ex-bf used to teach me all the rules.

After I got the hang of things I became a pats fan since both he and my grandfather (passed away) were pats fans. And stuck with them ever since.

Even when they have "off" years I don't let it get to me. I consider those resting years. And like Barkley said, a pats "bad" year is still p. much better than most teams in the league, so eh, not that stressful to me.
