They were usually available on Monday, after the previous episode aired. I didn't check yesterday, though.

Finally had time to sit and watch the first two episodes and I'm really impressed. Some great acting and the story is far from the normal so far. Plus it has bad wolf.

Caliban is a wonderful addition to the story. This episode elevated this show for me.

Yet another great episode. Caliban is such a great character, nothing like I thought he's gonna be from his entrance.

    Dorian's got crazy game?

He seemed to play Ethan like a fiddle.

^pretty much, it's all about the seductive powers of Dorian Grey, he can have anything and anyone he wants, it's why he's so bored with his own existence

Why flash all those scenes from his past? It seemed like he was going to turn, but instead he ripped of Gray's clothes. I said the same thing to the fiancee about Gray, but it was still a strange string of scenes.

I was sure Caliban was going to kill the actress in the play as an accident so she could be made into his franken-bride. Could still happen.

Every week, I like the show less... It teases at the start with the inclusion of additional literary characters, then drags on, and on... I was excited by the previews last winter, halfway into this week's ep, I'm ready to quit the show.

Ditto, I thought they were going for a phantom of the opera type of deal with Caliban (kill two birds with one stone) but after seeing Brona
    Spoiler: show
possibly die in the middle of the street
she seems the best option for a frankenwifey.

In addition to renewing "Penny Dreadful," Showtime announced that the second season will be expanded to 10 episodes, up from the eight for the current first season. Production will continue to be in Dublin and "Penny Dreadful" will return in 2015.

“Picking up 'Penny Dreadful' was one of the easiest decisions I’ve made," blurbs Showtime President David Nevins, not explaining why the decision didn't come until half-way through the season. "The series has had worldwide impact, drawing big, passionate audiences on both sides of the Atlantic, and more than any other show on our network has hit the bullseye with viewers who want to watch television in all the new ways that are available. John Logan has deftly created an epic series that has drawn raves from a wide-range of audiences from quality drama lovers to critics, to hardcore genre fans. We look forward to working once again with our partners at Sky Atlantic and are extremely excited for what’s in store for season two."

Across various platforms, "Penny Dreadful" has averaged 4.8 million weekly viewers through its first three episodes, with particularly strong play on Showtime OnDemand -- which I will be using for my afternoon catch-up -- and Showtime Anytime, where it is the network's most watched new show. The first episode, which went up early online and on various digital platforms was Showtime's biggest-ever sneak preview as well.
