But it's only that 4th CT drop that puts you ahead. You're behind every single week before that and VIT boosts are far more important at low VIT than hight VIT. Also unless you're starting at less than 60 myth, the CT body/legs route could take Myth belt or ring in that 4th week too. Plus you could start taking CT drops a week quicker for another job which isn't an advantage for the tank job but is an advantage for the player overall.

Honestly your better off getting af2 body and keeping nq relic, I find that alot of wars blow myth on relic+1 and end up with shitty gear in other slots, the utility of our relic is pretty low. Get a dual haken and pile on all the gear you can get since acc won't be a issue.

This gearing thing, one does not simply walk into CT and get what they want every time. I've adjusted Myth purchases according to what's actually dropped for me.

I've ended up with:
NQ Bravura
CT Head
Myth Body
DL Hands
CT Belt
CT Legs
Myth Boots

Running CT with capped tomes is meh, and i'm not sure i'll even be bothered to get the CT hands before the end of the week. Spent my Myth on the body this week.

You're either extremely lucky, didn't level any jobs that gets significant advantage out of zenith or got grandfathered into a very good group. It's possible, but for the vast majority of people it's definitely not realistic.

Here is my situation, some input would be appreciated!!

Main: Bravura NQ (80)
Head: Crown of Light (80 CT)
Body: Class Quest body (55) (I have been SPAMMING CT for the body but isnt dropping, got currency to get body/head 70 but still hoping for body drop)
Hands: Darklight
Waist: Darklight
Legs/feet: Darklight
Belt: Darklight
Earring: Darklight
Bracelet: Darklight
Ring1: Darklight
Ring2: Ultima's ring

Struggling on how to proceed. I assume my best way from what you guys have discussed would be to get the Darklight head/body, get the CT ilvl 80 boots, and 90 legs? Leaving Bravura 80 for the time being.

Or, get the 80 CT Body/possibly T1 body preferably and upgrade Bravura to +1? Assuming I'm wanting to keep WAR main for now and not leveling an alt class for a while.

Don't plan your gear around allagan because they might not even drop for another 6 months lol.

I'd also not go for Zenith since its replaceable very fast, I'd go for Mytho Body > Mytho Hands/Feet + CT Legs, get crafted accesories to supplement accuracy if those pieces do not have accuracy (DL neck and earring do not have acc i believe), crafted accessories are cheap investments these days.

When your left side are filled with i80~i90s, you are ready to do primal extreme for Dual Haken and saves 900mytho. Do coil turn 1~ turn 2 every week at least since thats where the good tank pieces are.

I do agree with Hiro but I hate the thought of people wasting their myth points on something so easily obtainable through coil. But, like he said, god knows when it will drop. I've ran coil for a minute now and have only seen 1 tank body drop. What I did/am doing for my WAR currently is holding out for what I believe to be BiS and using CT to gear the slot for the time. This weekend I'll have my dual haken and on mondays reset I can get my myth body and that'll get me out of the of these fucking DL legs and back to my allagan for T4. CT gear isn't too bad except that it has 0 accuracy, which sucks for coil. As far as tanking primals and dungeons and what not, you're chillin'
