Vortex was good to me this morning, I'll be able to evolve 2 units, and have all the parts (except a totem) for God Knight Will as well. I don't think I'll be getting the totem for some time to come yet.

Total I got 2 light idols, 3 dark ( which I have almost no use for ), 1 fire and 1 water.

How tough is the Idol dungeon?

GDI stupid rng on the idol dungeon, i don't have electric units and all i got was electric idols and electric stuff. Shdhdodjsbdjdhdhd all my energy gone.

Electric was all I needed and it took 6 runs to get anything electric.

How tough is the Idol dungeon?

If you have decently leveled 3- and 4-star units, you'll probably be OK. Last week I got curb-stomped trying. This week the only real tough spots were when I ran into an element strong to me.

If you go multi-colored, you'll probably need to guard every turn for any summon that is weak to the mobs. If you are a mono team, just make sure you have 3-5 of the ores and seals for your element to get through any rounds that you are weak to.

If you can beat stages on the third map without excessive difficulty, that's probably another good marker that you are at least in range of trying.

As a side note, how does dark/light work with regards to weakness? Dark does more dmg to light when attacking and vice versa? PAD messed with me in this regard since light/dark are weak to nothing since your team as whole doesn't have an elemental weakness or strength (aside from leader skills) when getting attacked.

Dark and light are weak to each other when they get attacked. It's a double-edged sword. For Light or Dark amps, it may be beneficial to use a normal elemental team or match the element rather than run a Dark team on a Light map.

You always attack first, so as long as at least one thing dies each round, you should be fine with say a light team vs a dark team.

New update out today. Contains a new area and new rare summons (probably more, but thats all I saw).

I'd wait a bit before playing. Their servers are getting hammered due to the update and I keep getting connection lost or the app just auto-closing during arena matches/quests. Also some people on forums are complaining that their Gem Summons are screwed up. They're saying the rates aren't correct, like I believe one person said he pulled 3 Oboros in a row. Which if I'm not mistaken, the event units like Oboro are not supposed to be available for Honor/Gem Summons.

Yea, just noticed the connection problems now. Did the first quest of the new area and my game would crash every time I tried to use a BB. Area was simple enough, though... cleared it by just spamming attack.

To get rewards, gain least 5 levels and reach the following level milestone within the event period:

Tier 1: Reach Lv 10 - 24 to get a 2 ★ Archer Lario
Tier 2: Reach Lv 25 - 29 to get a Metal Ghost
Tier 3: Reach Lv 30 - 34 to get a Jewel King
Tier 4: Reach Lv 35 - 39 to get a Metal King
Tier 5: Reach Lv 40 - 44 to get a 3 ★ Leviathan
Tier 6: Reach Lv 45 & above to get a Metal God

Rewards will be given based on your starting level. For example:

If you're starting from Lv 15 and reach Lv 30 during the event: you get a 2 ★ Archer Lario, Metal Ghost and Jewel King

If you're starting from Lv 35 and reach Lv 40 during the event: get a Metal King and Leviathan.

If you're starting from Lv 45: get a Metal God.

Bah, thats BS. I'm level 27 and would've rather had a Lario than a Metal Ghost At least I managed to pull a 4* tree in my last gem summon.

I wouldn't mind that Leviathan. Having two for a Mono-Blue Arena team would be pretty killer.

Already evolved my levi to a lochness, i still wabt a damn phoenix to work together w/ my god tree. Ultra heals!

Leviathan seems like the best of the prizes, but they haven't announced how long we have to hit those levels. If its 2+ weeks we should be ok since spamming the Vortex quests gives a good amount of xp.
