Meltia is a decent crit buffer and that's pretty much it. 45% crit buff, making it third best, behind Orna at 50% and SGX at 60%. Her stats are low, even for a 5*, and her BB doesn't do any damage meaning she won't be providing much BC/HC support.

I wouldn't bother trying too hard on getting Zebra either. He got nerfed a while back and doesn't quite have that umph he used to. Maxwell is obviously better due to stats, SBB, and LS. She is also free like Zebra. Maxwell can be beat as soon as you get a good squad; meaning Lily Matah lead, Mitigator, Healer, Status Negator/Cure, Damage dealer.

You can do:
Lily Lead
Darvenshel/Narza/Oulu
Altri/Melchio/Ulkina/Lunaris/Exvhel
Altri/Elimo/Rashil/Tia
Lilith/Rowgen/Rickel/Lorand/Farris

But don't be afraid to mix it up. A Darvanshel friend provides both status negation and mitigation, freeing a spot for a healer or another damage dealer. But a Lily Matah lead is pretty much mandatory if you plan on having mitigation up every turn.

I have a lilly, a melchio, a rickel and a rowgen. But i dont have a mitgator or a decent healer unless i get arius or phee or the twins up. But i dont think phee or twins would work being HoT, and arius heal is SBB only. I do have a max level 3 star sage chick... but that def wont cut it. Also have a yujeh but thats HoT as well.
i would have to run with a darv friend, and level up a healer. Do you think lilly lead + melchio glitch would work to keep arius SBB up for heals when needed?

I think the problem lies in RNG with maxwell. It seems like on your go around you didn't have to deal with double destiny's raping your healer or maxwell just focusing on something like lilith or rogwen which does nothing for your BC Gen on your healer/mitigator. I mean I didn't do it the first time so I'm in that club, but I felt when I did clear it, it was more about having better luck with the RNG, then me fixing any mistakes.

I guess tia was a big help for me, she is not nearly as squishy as most other healers. 2600 def and 9.1k hp with drevas.

How does garnan stack up a crit booster until i have maxwell/zebra

Honor event ends today. Yes those were the very hard dungeons. Garnan is acceptable with SBB10 but his crit buff is pretty low, Zebra is not really worth using anymore since he got nerfed to 150% crit damage.

Yeah, those ones.

Garnan does not compare to Zebra or Maxwell. Apples to oranges and such. Zebra/Maxwell increases critical damage when set as a leader, while Garnan improves Critical Chance. Zebra/Maxwell increases critical damage by 125-150%, while Garnan increases critical chance by 30%. Keep in mind, I'm going off of 6* forms.

I see. The reason I was asking was because I have a garnan but not a zebra. And I don't know if I can do max yet. Did level two cyclaw with friend max well and signas leader. Signas was doing six k hits normal. Couldn't see bb damage but auto battle won the day

The capture rate on this cyclaw is absolute fucking ass.

Didn't see either of these news tidbits posted here yet. The LotR one is just kinda silly...but the 6* news is pretty cool. We knew about Ziz's batch, but 5 other batches are also getting boosted, four of which are "freebie" units. I hope this means they bring back their vortex dungeons for the upgrades, I would love another shot at some of the units in Reeds' batch. I was barely able to scrape through their lower level stages before, but next time around I'll easily be able to clear em.

I was looking for special codes to put in for bonus things, but found that instead

Fucking shit, i tried grand jelly with maxwell x2 leads, mari, azael, kuda, elza, and only did 70% to it

Not sure if it'd be better to bring ulkina and drop it to 51% before using sbbs, or if i just got bad luck on crits and need to try again...

edit: yeah just bad luck. Second try with same strat destroyed it.

Loool. The boss of egor mountains on mistral after defeating story maxwell. He was fairly easy for my mono thunder team, but good god. People were not kidding about that paralyze. Definitely should have put my elsel as leader instead of gold knight rhina. could have lived without that 50% thunder power for status immunity. Almost lost at like 1% because of paralyze. Last unit alive had 120 hp left when it wore off and i could kill the boss.

Finally decided to try Maxwell again and this fucking happened from an unlucky Meteor.. (It killed my Darvanshel which led to the rest dying without Dmg Mitigation)

Feel like this last month has been like doing coke and banging hookers, now its back to being sober and having sex with the wife, seems so bleh.
I think they should always have imps at the RS gate at least, maybe throw in that burst frog dungeon or something.

Imps at the gate would be fantastic, but seeing how rare they were for the SHS stuff, I can only imagine how impossible it would be to pull one with the normal rates.
