Sadly that's incorrect. Ushi, protoscope gaming channel, milko gaming and some others if you watch their videos, there's a disclaimer that they're part of the BF content creation team, aka they get paid to make youtube vids and play brave frontier. Not sure how far this works, but afaik, they can also create gems at will, those people usually don't have <500 gems in their videos. All 3 i mentioned also have global, global f2p, jp and f2p jp accounts.

So I tried Vargas lvl. 3 today, and it was just one big pile of NOPE. Got shut down hard, couldn't even get a kill on the first stage. Think I'm still too low level for some of this stuff. Went in with only 2 6*s and lasted maybe 5 rounds before I was dead.

Ciara-Leader 6*
Mariudeth-6*
Shera-5*
Belfura-5*
Ulkina-5*

For friends list I didn't get very lucky so no Maxwells or Grahs available, had to settle with a Selene 6*

Is it too soon for me to be trying this, because I really feel it is.

btw, calling arena experts!

with Earth vortex coming up (i'm hype for it only because i have pretty good earth units), i wanted to see what units i can use to have as leader + squad.
my following earth units all w/ at least BB10/SBB1 (i also need to once again farm myself some mats and make more amanos for this, or else using medullas):

Ophelia (considerinng her as leader cuz of her +65% earth dmg)
Douglas - SBB10
Dilma - SBB10
Zelnite - SBB10
Tree - SBB10
Lance - meh
Lugina
Twins - SBB10
Nalmika - BB10
Hatsune Miku

id prob do ophelia lead, Zelnite top position, Dilma, douglas and nalmika or lugina. Twins are decent for being so old as well.

My team is going to be Ophelia lead, 2 Zelnites, Dilma, and prob Faris or Lugina.

I don't have much for Earth Vortex but I actually have enough units to field a believable team (note I said believable, not good. In a hell of a lot better position than Thunder Vortex where all I had was Amy, Lodin, a thunder totem and a few pots)

It's not much, but it's at least not totems.
