Eva's def bonus is basically worthless. She's a decent crit buffer if you don't have anyone else, but otherwise, ehhh i don't think i'd ever use her for anything. Mayyyybe as a leader, paired with narza, as a replacement for lilly, for something where you don't really need quite as much bc as lilly gives, and want to get some more damage in.

As i approach 400 consecutive wins in arena as an f2p player, i get more and more baffled when i see people with over 1000 losses.

Still...i can win second turn even without bbs. I won more often than some of these people on day 1, when it took 3-4 turns to get bbs, that didn't even kill people.

Yeah I'm gonna go ahead and classify that as low.

Also not everyone looks up the best arena teams or best positioning for units. Honestly I only just properly positioned my guys based on their AI and I'm sitting on 468k arena points. Plus like Day said, it wasn't insta win back in the day like it is now. Combine that with bad AI and its easy to rack up losses.

Yea, arena and used to be a lot more random, when people didn't know about arena AI and spheres weren't as OP (no Amanos). All of this power-creep, whether in leader skills, general mechanics knowledge, or spheres, gives the attacker an huge advantage.

Check your defense win streak, and you'll have a good idea of what I'm talking about. I have a 255 streak in offense, but only 3 in defense (and I'm pretty sure it isn't because people don't attack me).

...I was always curious how the game picks your "defensive" arena team. Is it just the last team you used in the arena or the current team you have equiped? (like your Friend-Leader).

Just broke 1k wins myself...but only have a max defensive win streak of 4 lol

No way of knowing. 175k is more than I guessed, but you're still in the area where a lot of people don't have great teams. It's easy to wreck face in arena if you have a meta team. Having 1000+ losses usually means you don't know (or didn't) how to build a proper team, but keeping a high win streak is all luck once everyone else is using a great team as well.

e: 400 win streak is much higher than I've gotten so congrats if you do make it.

idk, it's just mind boggling to me how many losses so many people seem to have. I get people didn't always have 6*s with amanos, lexidas, zurg, etc, but still. Even in my first few weeks where i was losing fairly often, having really no idea what i was doing, i didn't lose as often as some of these people.

Here's a list of things that have been added since I started:

Many, many 6 star forms.
SO many new units with greatly boosted stats AND hit counts each batch.
More rainbow leads other than Lodin.
Sphere Frogs
Lexida
Halloween Spheres
Gaurdian/Aegis Cloaks.
New LS like Zurg.
Deemo/Miku
Craftable Amahobos.
Datamined info on Hit Counts/Drop Checks/Arena AI.
Forgetting at least 3 more things probably.

It was very rare when I started to get more than 2 bbs filled on first turn. Also rare to kill more than 1 person on first turn. And I wasn't even an early starter, the game had been around for quite a while before I picked it up.
Now you only deal with RNG of one of your 5 bbs going off, before you had RNG of is at least someone going to fill? Is that dude gonna bb?

All of the things in that list have made it stupid easy to win Arena because the AI/System hasn't changed to account for any of it. For an analogy, you are basically starting FFXI now and wondering why people used to complain about the grind pre level sync etc..

I log in with 20+ gems, go to receive compensation gems from mailbox, game crashes and all my gems are now gone...except the 2 in my inbox which I can't take out cause the game crashes every time I do.

This is all kinds of wtf right here.

To get disappearing gems go to the shop and try to buy gems and cancel at the last step. Brought all mine back.
