i've always liked Alice as a unit since i started BF, and i've NEVER ever seen her in my unit pool, she's one of those "trophy" units in my personal list that i've wanted, same w/ Lava. I was hoping to have her just to have her, not to use her tbh.

I would kill for the Twins to get a 7*. They were one of my first RS units and carried me through so much content.

It was a theory craft post on reddit but... Xie'Jing, and probably Afla Dilith I think as well.
In a nutshell, you stack Crit rate, crit damage, BB mod, attack buffs, and all the stat>attack buffs you can, and then you have to pray you crit and spark his one hit UBB and it'll do like 10 million damage or something retarded like that.

As a pretty new player, and almost assuradly F2P, how much should I look at Reddit's Long Term Tier list?

I'm currently saving gems up, for the favored units summon events, but I'm trying to understand the game's progression, and balance current resources that I have vs what I could spend them on if I summon at the right time. What's the game's natural progression like, and what are the quality of units you have to have in order to tackle each step? What's the best summon event I should be looking for, based on past experience, or current knowledge about what Gumi wants to do?

ES stat boost only appear during a battle. Unit info on the unit page will not reflect ES stat increases.

After Augst 8th 5:59 PST (Super Rare Summon event ends), within a few days Gumi will probably do a Popular Unit Rate Up, where each day will be 6 units with increased rate that are all considered long term units because they have 7* version or soon will have them. For the past 2 Popular Rate Up event, they have done a 5+1 summon where the free one was from the batch of 36 "popular units".

As far as unit progression goes, you want units that fall into these categories (with some examples)

Mitigator - 6* Narza, Darvanshel, Shera, Oulu (will have 7* eventually),
7* Elimo, Edea, Aaron

Status Cleanser - 6* Ulkina, Rigness, Exvehl (will have 7* eventually)
7* Kanon, Ivris, Elimo (BB clears status), Edea (Extra Skill makes her BB/SBB clears ailment)

BC Generator - Griel, Feeva, Ruby, Bestie, Zerafalgar, Medina, Lilly Matah, Diana (she's like Lilly Matah v4.0)

Status Inflictor - Edea, Kikuri, Sefia, Griel, Tora, Fadahl, Balgran

Spark buffer - Elza (6*), Claire, Raaga, Loch, Zenia,

Crit modifier - Kira, Colt, Dion, Reis, Maxwell (free 6* unit from completing Trial 3)

This game suffers from power creep. Severe power creep. the newest batch can almost trivialize content that units from 4 batches ago struggled with. Just keep that in mind!

But also remember, just because a much better unit comes out, doesn't necessarily mean the one who have is obsolete.

If you get your hands on a Semira, I love using her in my arena group. If she gets to BB the other team can just pack it up if they manage to live through my round 2.

This is also true. You can always use older units. It'll just make some content a little bit more challenging. But hey! It'll feel more rewarding that way.

But also, this means if you get a really good recent X unit, it'll be usable even if Gumi releases Y unit that later outclasses X. They can only make so much improvements over existing units without pissing off their playerbase and making everyone quit. Look at Kira, and Dion, and Colt, Reis, and Glyph. Kira was part one of the first 7* batches. Two batches later Dion shows up and pretty much offered the exact same thing as Kira as a leader, but applied his bonus to two different elements. Colt was part of the second batch of 7* units. Two batches later and Reis makes an appearance and "outclasses Colt" but just barely. Two more batches after that, (only available in JP currently), Glyph shows up and is exactly the same as Reis but a different element, with slightly different BB skills. Their Leader Skills are carbon copies of each other.

I remember reading somewhere that it was announced on a TwitchTV Live Stream event that Gumi said all the Global Exclusive units will eventually get 7* forms. 7* Semira will be so gangster with status inflictionssssss, I just know it! And Ciara as 7*. Omg yesssssss.

Well, atm, It seems like my best bet is to cover my bases, by obtaining each of the Sybil Sisters, while grinding through the quests; BG friends have been a huge help getting Freya/Eliza though I've a lot of friend spaces still un-filled. I've sort of hit a wall, in Arena, as I can't grind low level Rookies, anymore, so I'm stuck with Warrior rank until I level some of the Sybil Sisters. Hopefully, I'll have a decent amount of gems, in the next few weeks, to take advantage of the Summon events.

One tip for Arena.

You can be matched up with opponents + or - 3000 points of you. So as a Warrior, refresh until you get someone who is a Contender. If you win, you will get lots of points. If you lose, you shouldn't lose much because they are higher than you.

Does anyone have any good fire units, for Gaia's Voice L4? Trident was a long, slugfest, but he could take the punishment/heal. Without Curse Imunity and Element bonus, I'm not sure that other leaders can finish the job, before I'm out of items, though Curse Imunity may be enough.

Might not be able to post for a while, since I'll be out moving a friends mother, to her new apartment, but I'll be able to charge/play as the day goes on.

If you need to refresh your friends list either do one of the very first missions. As it's very low energy cost and the battles are quick or restart the game. I'll toss my Darvanshel up.

A Selena 7* with Refined Gem (like mine) can solo it just fine. Of course I'll take a few minutes. I'll put mine back up in about an hour or so; heading out to do errands. Remember that there's a cooldown before a friend will reappear in your friend list to use on missions. So even if you refresh your list, the person you want to use might not pop up!

Can't you just leave the game to refresh friend list?

If you're playing on iOS you have to force quit the app from the app switcher. There's no way to "exit the game" for iOS like there is for Android versions.

For right now, this is also a good idea as to refreshing your list, because of the "double" honor points event currently.

Not the best but I put up Arus. He has infinite Single Target Fire SBB that should help with Gaia Lv 4.
