Whats...Pachiko,....Precious?
So, given the types of events that Gumi offers Global, is now the 'best' time to summon, or is there a better event coming soon enough, like Popular Unit Campaign? I'm not in a huge hurry to summon, since gems are limited, when F2P, and I'd like the best bang for my gems. I've a lot of quests to go through, and my units seem decent enough, with BG friend help, to go a long ways.
I only suggest Super Rare Summon Plus being a good time to summon for "Pachiko" because he doesn't have all that many units yet. Even if he gets some older ones, he will get ones that are useful to him. And they will all be guaranteed 5 star or higher so less evolving for him to do. Maybe not use all your gems, but I would recommend doing at least 4 summons so you can get the bonus unit and have a total of 5 new guys.
I don't know when the event ends though so make sure to read the description on the summon page before you do it.
Medal rush is back for the weekend. Going to leave my breaker Kira up pretty much the entire time for people to use. Except for when I'm running imp parades.
Annnnnnnd they're doing unit roles for Rare summons. "crit buffers" today. Still hold off Kachiko!
You can get units that fill your party roles you lack but you can get units that are extremely old and not get the value out of your precious F2P gems.
Edit: I take that back. While they're doing roles every day, rate ups apply to the featured units on display in the Rare Summon Gate image! This is actually a good event! All these units are 7* units. The only issue is there's only one mitigator from all of these and you'll need a mitigator for content like Trials and Raids.
8th Crit buffers (all are good)
9th BB/BC buffers (Bestie, Ruby, Medina, Feeva)
10th Spark Buffer (Raaga is best here, Sixgear and Tazer decent, Claire is good too but even better when paired with Colt in same party)
11th Support Aaron is best from this since he's the only mitigator. Ivris is next as a healer
12th Stat Boosters Kanon/Quaid are excellent for almost all content, Totetsu is a great Arena unit.
It's silly to count Yuura as a crit buffer when its only his UBB that does it lol
elimo and edea are also mitigators, other than that no one else but aaron.
The last role rate up, they put Kanon with the mitigators, because of his UBB lol.
This is correct. Next batch has an attacking Light mitigator, Krantz. Narza will finally be old news..... until he gets a 7* or something lol.
Also, Gumi has fixed the contribution system for Raids; if you join a medal rush room and the boss is killed before you can even reach it, let alone damage it, you'll still get the minimum medals (28ish for RC4). No reason to go solo, either leech rooms or try to get stars to get more medals!
rate up is a lie.....
6 pulls all shite.
Hell yes.
Spoiler: show
I completely lucked out on the 20-25 trek. I was able to pick the "random chance to inflict status ailments" bonus and was able to paralyze Kikuri on my first turn. On 26-30 I lucked out again and was able to get the "Final Hope" bonus and the free angel idol helped SO much on each stage there after. Never have to do these later stages again. Now time to farm 1-20 for esteem points for whenever Gumi decides to implement that achievement in the Achievement Store.
Stages 21, 22, 23 and 25 are pretty easy, actually. 24 (Sefia and Kikuri) is the only hard floor.
Lin, you just need to get her down to below 50% health before the start of her third turn. She commits suicide on the 4th turn no matter what. Mifune is easy as well; his damage just slowly increases each turn from "pitiful and no need to use mitigation" to "oh shit freight train incoming". You can easily kill him within 3 or 4 turns. About the tenth turn is when he does serious damage though mitigation.
Loch and Edea on floor 23 is pretty straight forward. Loch can do his UBB, but he'll activate overdrive first, so you have plenty of warning to mitigate and guard the next turn.
Sefia and Kikuri can either be the easiest, or the hardest fight all depending on how your first turn goes. If you have the brute strength you can OTKO them. However, that usually means you won't have the defenses to manage stage 26-30, so you'll probably quit after Defense System on floor 25. Another way it can be easy is if you land paralyze on Kikuri and Injury on Sefia on your first turn. If you don't paralyze Kikuri, she will lock out your leader skills for the remainder of the fight. Also Sefia will wipe buffs if she hits a 75% HP threshold. So what I did on my first turn was:
Activate OD on Zenia,
Regular attack with everyone on Kikuri, except Edea
SBB with Edea.
I lucked out and was able to proc paralyze on Kikuri (due to the stage bonus I had selected), and got enough BB to fill on Zenia. Next turn I UBB with Zenia and cranked it to eleven with everyone's SBB (except Elimo whom I had regular attack due to the +1 hit from Zenia's UBB) after that and killed them both within 3 turns before Zenia's UBB wore off.
Stages 26-30.... those were tough. I probably failed that section 13 or 14 times. Grand Jelly on floor 26 is like all the other Grand Jellys; hope that RNG is in your favor to stick poison on him. Stage 27 just had a 50% threshold attack and mitigation and guard took care of. Stage 28 was just like the extra boss in Grah's GQ. Stage 29 was just a matter of praying RNG didn't target the same unit on his buff wipe move. Stage 30 just sucked. Sucked sucked sucked.
