You could do Shida instead of Quaid but then you're losing potential damage since Shida's SBB doesn't do damage. The nice thing with Middle farming is there is plenty of room of flexibility in party setup.

I had a question about Spheres and different roles.

For your options;

Spheres that are needed for Extra Skill activation are usually best equipped for that unit. USUALLY. Lexida on Selena and Scarlet Pin on Kikuri are no brainers. Holy Eight makes Sefia into an attack powerhouse too. Of course there are exceptions to this rule. Lafdranya is pretty lame on Edea in my opinion. It offers nothing offensive for Edea other than activating the +20% stats part of her ES. I'd rather use a Malice Jewel on her to get more HP and attack since her BB/SBB offers pretty decent damage.

General questing and raids; throw standard stat spheres on to DD units, and any unit that has been sphere frogged give them a +drop sphere to increase BC/HC generation.

Xentar is best used on a unit that has high drop checks to ensure more HC/BC drop for you from their normal attacks. You can check Wikipedia for each unit's drop check to see who would get the most benefit during normal attacks.

Your mitigator needs to have at minimum BB every turn, Vargas's sphere helps with that. Other option is a stat sphere with Evil Shard or Magic Ore.

If you have a unit that cleanses status ailments and you are not using a status null Leader Skill or your cleanser does not have inherent status null ability from ES (like Kanon), give them either Drevas, Refine Gem, or Cosmic Dust. That way you don't get dicked over if everyone gets paralyzed.

No one likes grinding but make some Celgrad Gems, or at the very least more Sol Creators. Actually make at least one Celgrad Gem because it can be used to make a really nice sphere that you can only have one of. The name escapes me but it gives +BC/HC drop rate, recovers HP every turn, and something else. It's pretty badass.

Omni Gizmo (+10% HC/BC drop rate) is pretty lame but usable until you get more Sol Creators or Celgrad Gems (+15% drop rate). Try to get some more legwand gems to convert into Malice Jewels. Don't synth Legwands though (lot of the material needed to make them are also used in making Malice Jewels), collect them from Frontier Hunter and other events, like the ones you can claim from the Achievement Store.

So I max leveled Ice Legend Selena and Gaia Bow Lario, including their SBB, and holy crap, that makes a world of difference. I'm able to continue advancing, in Arena, and if there are 3+ enemies, I can completely refill SBB on every battle, once they are built up. Currently up to Goddess of Ice, and I'm going to try and use Deimos Thunderborn to grab Lexida. If I pop a Fujin, and a Holy Flute, I'm thinking I can keep the party alive long enough to get Lario/Selena's SBB up, and that should allow me to keep the party healed and do damage, at least for a while. I'm sure that Deimos will eventually be the only one left, but we'll see what happens.

Also, I don't know what to do with all of these Honor points. I can't level any more units, right now, and I still can't collect the honor points they have been sending, as part of the event, as it says I have too many stored up. D:

So, should I consider buying a Sphere Frog and using Imps or wait until I raise an Anima version, and then do it? If I do Frog her, should I use Sol Creator or Refined Gem, or swap between them, depending on the situation?

When it comes to imps, in my opinion, for Selena it's Anima or bust. When it comes to Super Honor Summon, there's a good chance of pulling the starters from and you might get an Anima one. Ultimately it's up to you.

Sphere frogs, while rare when you start playing, start to become more and more plentiful. Feel free to frog your current Selena. Sol Creator or refine gem depending on if you need the status null or not (like in Arena it's a good idea to use Lexida + Refine Gem)

hero crystal, OD Nemeth, Fujin everyone except for one of the Kiras. Use light ore or gleam stone, brute elixir everyone then SBB Kira, UBB Nemeth, SBB Will > Raaga > Lilith. Attack with final Kira.

Xie'Jing went to what I thought was 0% health but either she HAS to do some of her scripted events before she dies or I was unlucky and manage to leave 0.1% of her health. She summoned Fei, proceeded to wipe my team, Fei died/disappeared, then her turn ended and my second team (just a Griel and Maxwell filler) popped up. Their regular attacks killed her though. Huzzah!

Yeah. Pop a Fujin on Diana. Use ONLY her BB (BC fill in hit and BC fill at turn's end), guard everyone else. Keep reapplying her BB every third turn while everyone else guards. Once everyone is full, just use SBB in order of Elemental Buff > Crit > Attack buff > Spark.

Use a spark buffer, like Elza if you don't have Reis/Zenia/Raaga.

For middle farming,

I dont have a Kira, but I do have Diana, Raaga, 2xMifune, Ultor, Grah, Toutetsu.

How many points should you be getting in Middle to make it a viable farm?

2 million in Terminus is 400k esteem points. (20% conversion). The one run of Terminus I did I hit 1.7mil (Griel lead, Sola, Madia, Shera, Lario, Raaga friend)

If you can get more than 8 million in Middle (5% conversion), you'll get more esteem points and there is considerably less of a chance of wiping.

It's either FH 19 or 20 in JPBF altered middle conversion and dropped it down to 3%, making people move to End to farm, which didn't get reduced.

I'll switch my lead to the opposite of what ever friend I have available. I'll get about 8.5 mil if I get a bad run (1 or 2 battles randomly have 1 or 2 targets). Best I've gotten is 11.5 mil and every fight had between 4-6 enemies.

That's the only problem with Mid and End farming; the fights are random within a set parameter. Sometimes you'll get one enemy in a round, sometimes you'll get 6.

Fujin Reis Zenia and Feeva. Use attack potion every fight no matter what.
Use SBB/attack in order of Reis Zenia Kira Feeva Nemethgear Kira

If it's a single target battle do Nemethgear first, then the rest.

Zenia is there for the BB mod and the spark mod. Try either Rosetta or Dion and see which does better?
