Seems the games servers went a bit to poop before maintenance. Raids are incredibly slow to connect/attack/anything I try to do.

Also, while I leveled and sphered Narza (B), he's constantly dieing to bosses, even with his mitigation up. The other uints almost always survive, but if he's just going to die, when he's needed the most, then /piff. I suppose I could imp him, but having to do that, to make him survive things, just doesn't sound right. Might just have to, if I don't roll another mitigation unit, though maybe Aurellia will give him the edge he needs to stay alive, once I can fit her on the team. Love his BC on hit though.

So a couple things fixed and a couple things broke with the update.

Starters; from the home screen you can now go directly to the achievement store (button next to the Menu button) and you can pull up the newsfeed with the button next to your gift box.

Auto battle; you can turn it on/off while a unit is using their BB/SBB now. Also, you don't have to press the screen on score display of Frontier Gate to advance to the next battle. Easier to farm it now!

Raids, you now have ten squads to use for raids specifically. You set them in the raids menu; there is its own Squad button there. Nifty. Raid battles go a lot quicker since you can just move from spot to spot. Also, they fixed the MST stuff in raids, but I don't think their fix is too helpful...

First notification was Balmedia's Tail being destroyed. The next three was of me using a God Crystal, Attack Crystal, and Defense Crystal in that order.

Gumi is doing a pre-anniversary celebration; get a gem every three days of logging in for the whole month of October. First day is different for everyone. When I logged in today, my notification said I'll get a free gem tomorrow. Also, from the 8th - 31st, we'll have an upgraded daily login reward. No mention as to what specifically is being upgraded/replaced from the rewards for the event.

Finally, Gumi said FH18 rewards are available for early pick up, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Just need a Raid button, and I can get to everything, from the main menu, in one click. Now, if they'd just make all of your friends available, until you actually use them, then I'd be a happier camper. P&D recently made that change, along with a lot more /random people, so you always had a huge selection of helpers.

Did BF servers go splat for anyone? Couldn't go much outside of the main menu and now i can't connect to the game.

The only issue is there seems to be issues with Hadaron damage output in raids, but not in quests. Before the update, soloing Balmedia or Nada Delia, I could autobattle with the Tail targeted (Lower body for ND) and Hadaron's damage output would kill that piece before the main body would die. Now I can't autobattle it because the main body will die before the targeted piece. Bah.

There's no "Rate Up" for the new units, you have an equal chance to pull any unit. But... For every five units you get a free unit from one of the four most recent 7* batches.
