Yeah. Only extra skill and leader skill induced extra hits will generate more drop checks. Extra hits provided by BB/SBB/UBB (like Ark's BB, Charis' BB/SBB, Zenia/Ruby's UBB) don't provide extra drop check just extra damage.

I use Hadaron still, but I have Raaga, Selena, & Rahgan, or will, once Raaga is fully leveled. Just missing a Bestie for a full top tier Arena team, with one of each element, but with Melchio and Andaria, my team still gets a couple of SBB, even with empty BB Gauge.

Man. The revamped Challenge Arena reward tiers are bullllllllshit. There's like no point to do it unless you're going to grind 20 hours a day. That's if you're trying to get to the tier that gets free gems every day.

Did the 8 summons today, got a total of 7 new units and 2 dupes. Pretty damn good rate i would say. Got a Dolk, Ivris, rigness, adel, zedus, altro(Finally), nalmika in new units.

Strolled into the lvl7 elgif vortex with my arena squad and got rolled by the boss. He is cute and deadly

Reflect damage randomly took me by surprise too wtf lol

I went in with
Zenia
Ark
Krantz
Selena
Hadaron
Chrome friend

And beat it just fine. Used the first two battles to just normal attack all the fodder to build OD gauge. Then on the Elgift stage I did

UBB Zenia > SBB Krantz > BB Ark > SBB everyone else.

Next turn BB/SBB Krantz > Regular attack everyone

I think we don't need a guide for this vortex anymore... due to Gazia and Zenia.
Three turn squad:
Gazia lead
Zenia
Michele
Libera
Selena
Chrome friend
Turn one: Everyone except Selena goes SBB. Michele > Gazia > Chrome > Libera> Zenia.
Turn two: Zenia UBB (OD and Fujin). Gazia BB/SBB. Everybody normal attack. At this point Elgift should be at 40% HP or below.
Turn three: Finishing move. Gazia BB/SBB for worst case.

Never thought normal hits would be so OP O_o


Edit: Also, seen regular and imp artons pop in 2nd stage of lvl 7.

Now got a 4* one thats high chance of inflicting Curse -_-

What do I do with useless elgifs? Sell?

Question about elgifs. Can I fuse 2 of the same type onto someone to increase the power of the extra skill? Or does that make too much sense.

Also got more. 10% HP boost. Another with slight spark damage up. And basically zelnites LS lol Item, karma, zel drop rate up.
